LPGA International - Hills Course

Slow. 3 hours to play 9 holes. No one from LPGA driving around ensuring pace of play.

I love firm and fast greens but downwind, these green are nearly impossible to hold. What’s worse is run up area and apron short of the green are soggy so forget about running one up as well. Otherwise it is a fun track!

Wonderful course layout and conditions. Starter very friendly and helpful.

A little more difficult than anticipated with some wet areas and new construction.

We were fortunate enough to be paired with two members who were terrific helping us navigate the course. It made the round much more enjoyable for us. The layout is great, and the course was in good condition for the time of year.

The staff at the course are not particularly helpful or friendly. No one would make any effort to show us to the range or first tee or to help with clubs. Check-in was the same. Individuals at the bag drop made no effort to clean our clubs or help load them into our car. They watched but missed out on a generous tip. I would like to play the course again, but I am not sure I want to deal with the staff.

Enjoyable track, with generous landing areas off tee, although many forced carries for higher handicaps. Nice variety of holes, par threes difficult, par fives very forgiving. Course conditions above average given winter time overseed fairways, greens reasonably smooth, rolled true at a manageable pace. Staff friendly and helpful.

Other than very slow greens the course is in very good shape for this time of the year.

We played the course based on recommendations from several golfers. The course was in very good condition for the time of year. The greens were a little slow but ran true. We consistently read bigger breaks than actual and made few putts. For my 20 handicap, it was difficult but an interesting layout. We were paired with two members who were terrific making us feel welcome and giving tips on how to play the course.

The staff were a bit disappointing. It was not a friendly reception at the bag drop or checking in. No one offered to direct us to the golf shop, range or first tee. Upon finishing, no one offered to clean our clubs or help load them into our car. A little initiative by the staff would have lead to a generous tip.

The layout has a nice mix of wide fairways and water hazards. Many tee shots and approaches to greens are through fairly narrow corridors bordered by pines and palms so it won’t be a fit for some golfers. Also lots of right to left doglegs, which doesn’t fit my ball flight, but really helped me to focus.

Great company made the round even more enjoyable that the course itself made things.

We played this course yesterday! The course is maintained well, layout is challenging!

Unfortunately the “4some” in front of us tee’d of as two and two as one of the twosomes were there on time and the others were a couple minutes later. They held up play causing a back up behind us and never did pair up as they should have.

On top of that their pace of play was incredibly slow! Ended up finishing 30+ minutes behind pace of play.

Two days prior we finished over 30 minutes ahead of pace.

5 plus hour round. No rangers on the course, they continue to send you messages on the GPS that you are behind and they may make you skip a hole, meanwhile there are 3 groups on every hole.
