The Reserve at Orange Lake Resort

Great course really enjoyed playing it. Pleasantly surprised at course conditions and had a great overall experience. Definitely will play this course again when I return to Orlando area. Greens were in great shape.

While the pro shop was undergoing renovations, the staff managed to get players out in a timely manner. This is a good course and for the amount of play that it receives, it was in decent shape.

Nice course with moderately challenging layout. Not pristine fairway conditions, but better than average. Some tight fairways, but most are fairly open. Several water hazards, but none too difficult.

Played with my wife and completed in 3:45h with the front nine slower than the back.

Staff were friendly and helpful and no problems paying with credit card.

Tee boxes & fairways were in reasonable condition, with greens slighter quicker than my home course and the three puts were down to my lack of skill rather than the greens.

There is better out there, but this course does offer great value.

Overall a fun round and will certainly return.

After playing some of the other courses in the area, I really didn't know what to expect in over-seeding season.

Course is well maintained but traps seem to need a little work. Nice layout with a number of hazards.

Course is credit card only and online rates are best

Played at 12:15 with my wife and followed a couple other 2-balls. Pace was excellent, finished in under 3-1/2 hours. However, I was very disappointed by course condition. There is a golf academy on-site with 4 courses and I expected better. The rack rate was $65 but got a deal through GolfNow at $25. Even $25 was a bit overpriced based on comparative courses elsewhere locally. Greens were sandy and had repairs throughout -- so often you had to putt across repairs or dead areas. The fairways were dry and very sparse grass, so often you were hitting off bare patches. Back nine was in better condition than front, so the day started out poorly. By end of third hole, I had lowered any expectations significantly. Pity the course has been allowed to deteriorate so badly, since the layout had great potential. Couple nice water holes. A bit tight in places with buildings, but not too intimidating.

We found the course in great shape, layout very good, greens fast.

Always on my list to play when I visit from Canada. Many great holes that can bite you if you don't pay attention. Cart staff/starter top notch. Course was just coming out of being closed for a week due to over seeding so it was not in the best of conditions, greens being rough, still was a good day. Will return on my next visit.

Everytime I play this course I keep hoping that that the greens are not overseeded that the course isn't overly soggy and that hopefully this will be the day that the course is in good shape but after 5 tries I'm hanging up my hat figuring this is the way it always is. Too bad because I really like the layout & you always see abundant wildlife staff is always friendly & nice.

Staff really friendly,course fun to play for average golfer challenging but not so hard that it takes the fun really enjoy my round would recommend if you live in Florida or are vacationing here

Course has really gone down in last couple years ,for the value we paid it was ok

The course was very spongee....I think due to the over seeding of the fairways. The worst part of the Golf experience was the cart guys. 3 guys and each one doing their own thing. We got our score card and course layout cards after our round of golf. Good to thing our playing partners had a score card he pick up on his own. The yardage markers on the tee were generally 20 yards off from our sky caddie and S2 Garmin GPS.

I am an owner here at Orange Lake and have been for 25 years. This use to be a beautiful golf course but in the last few years it has severely declined in its condition. crab grass on greens; huge bare spots on greens. My villa is on the course and have not seen the traps get raked in 4 days; when it used to happen every morning. I went through 4 jugs of divot repair mix and could have used a thousand more. I really hope Orange lake takes back control of their courses before it is too late. I would be embarrassed to have my guess pay to play this course in its current condition.

Played all 3 courses at Orange Lakes between 10/15 and 10/17/2016. If I were the owners of this course I would be ashamed at the condition. Greens were full of craters, weeds and burnouts, the fairways were full of the same types of weeds and were primarily brown, and the tee boxes were beat up. There was no lushness anywhere on the course and someone should be FIRED!!!! I would not play here again!

A nice course which although not over long still had its challenges for most players.

Rental clubs while well used were still in reasonable condition and not too costly.

Will definitely return to play again on my next visit to Orlando

Here is another course run by Integrity where they take in the money $$$$$ and never maintain the Course, this course is a great course but as long as Integrity runs it they will run it to the ground

A good design making it important to place tee shots into position. Not too long but challenging. Sadly the greens have many very bad spots making putting difficult.

Played this course after playing the Arnold Palmer design on property. The Legends was very open and forgiving, the Reserve requires more strategic decision making and much more accurate shot making. Many of the holes are lined with houses (resort properties) on both sides of the fairway so it will be helpful to hit it straight. Several greens are protected by water--many were wide but not very deep. If you go long on your approach shot, plan to drop one as it will be wet. I found it challenging but played a good round. I loved this course and am trying to rearrange the vacation schedule to give it another go. I highly recommend this course if you're looking for a challenging and enjoyable round

Everything about the course was great and the greens and fairways are looking better than I expected based on the other reviews. They are not great, but can see the work put into them and they muse be improving.
