The Reserve at Orange Lake Resort

Have played this course in the past and the experience and course were great. However, for some reason, be it the weather or maintence, the course was not in very good condition. Most greens had either weeds or bare spots. Fairways were ok but not what we had experienced in the past. We will probably play later this Fall, hopefully the course will be in better condition.

Didn't get off to the best of starts when the reception wasn't manned! Had to seek him out (15 minutes)

The buggy guy was even less helpful gave us a card with no instructions other than to head off right at the roundabout for the first tee. It would have been useful to have had at least a picture of the hole either on the card or legend at each hole to give some idea as to what lay ahead. Sadly what lay ahead, was poor fairways and greens (with a lot of gouge marks on them and also varying typed of grass which shouldn't be present on greens). Staff were out mulching areas of really no consequence… could have been better employed repairing greens. Overall very disappointed. This is a really neat layout……. Give it some credit and fix those problems!!

Alot of water damage but still plays well.

This course use to be one of the better courses in central Florida. Now the greens have large areas of crabgrass and fairways are way below average.

Looked forward to play this course again. Regretfully condition of fairways and greens just not up to standard.

Nice corse overall , lots of repairs on greens but that's acceptable , tricky holes and lots of hazards to avoid definitely worth a visit

I don't know if it's because I booked through golf now at a hot deal rate but the member of staff in pro shop is moody and miserable as sin I mean it's the golfers that keep these courses afloat yet they treat you like you've offended them !!

Legacy bar and grill some good deals on two for one beers and half price appetisers

The staff in the bar very friendly and the chef even came out to recommend dishes very nice guy

So replace pro shop staff and your on a winner

Tje vourse wiuld be very nice to play if it eas not under renocation. The greens were coming back but had lots of foreign grass in them. The fsirways were worse than the greens. It slso looked likevthe course could fo with a significant investment in maintnance as things looked and not kept up to the level I would have expected. Having said all that we were told begore booking on golf now that the course eas indr tenovation and the green fees were reduced to $19 per player so nothing really to complain about. Just felt there was a lot of potential for the course that was mot achieved even with the aerstion of the greens.

Played this course with my son for the first time, we really enjoyed ,it is shot makers course . The greens was fast and receptive to go shots, though there was some burnt spots on them probably due to Florida heat and the fairways had some bad spots also but overall they didn't effect your experience and play ability. The lay out is great the golfnow price is a steal for this type of course, I'll definitely will play again before I go back home to Oklahoma.

Played several times. Great golf layout. Pace of play steady this time of year. Good local course to play.

The course was in better shape than I expected after reading some reviews left by others. For $19 you can do a lot worse. I would definitely play there again.

always enjoy this course....not a knock over but not easy either....green rolled true...summer in florida does cause some bare spots but it is what it is....sunny hot florida baby

The course is in very bad shape. Fairways, greens & tee boxes are in in terrible shape. I would never golf there again. This is the only course that I have ever golfed at in FL that only had drinking water on 2 holes. One on the front 9 and one on the back 9.

Everyone was really nice and we saw the cart girl several times throughout the round. Unfortunately the rain got us and we didn't finish but it wasn't a bad experience. Greens are trying to heal up although there are some weeds present that certainly effect the roll. Tee boxes are in need of some attention as well but the fairways are actually pretty good. It's a relatively tight course with tricky greens, we enjoyed it and would play it again.

1st time playing the course. Enjoyed it. Greens need some help. But considering their condition they were fast. Course is surrounded by a conservation area. Got to hit them straight if not bring extra balls. Very narrow areas.

I would not play this course ever again!

Had to hire clubs which were a mix and match set in poor condition and had a child's putter.for $29.00 +tax.

The course has a nice lay out with some dog leg holes, hidden water and ditches.

The fairways and greens are mixed ,some good condition some poor but did not spoil our round.

Staff were friendly but you have to pay everthing by credit card as it does not allow money transaction across the counter.

Pace of play made this round unpleasant !

I'm normally in Florida in November, so perhaps it was the time of year,but the courses I played this time were in poor condition. I was disappointed in the condition of the greens on the Reserve course, bare patches and generally unsightly. Maybe I'm being unfair as other courses in the area were also in poor condition . It did not spoil my enjoyment and slower games allowed us to play through, something that has never happened to me before in the USA. It only cost $30 for two of us including cart, so we can't really complain. I did wonder if there was some kind of disease on the greens as some other courses locally were closed due to replacing their greens.

Always enjoy playing this course. Never boring. Fairways are in good shape. Greens are in decent shape. This course will challenge you so bring your A-Game.

The three of us had a great time, was very hot 95 degrees, they gave us ice when we went out, saw the drink truck on hole #2 and did not see it again the rest of the time, no water on the course made for a very hot day, course was nice, staff was friendly..would play again but would take some drinks
