West at Inverrary Country Club

I remember this being such a beautiful venue back in the 70's and 80's. While the greens were in fairly good shape the deterioration of the overall facility is quite disheartening.

Greens were excellent and not flat, course well-kept, friendly staff and ... other players :-) . The long Par 3's and 5's posed a challenge for my high handicap but were welcomed after playing many other area courses with short Par 3's and 5's. I highly recommend this course and the Club House Restaurant/Bar staff is superb...

Played the West Course. I liked the layout, a couple of hard holes but overall a very fair challenge. Fairways a little thin, true greens in good shape. The bunkers were good but had no rakes and none on the cart however I think the rangers may rake them throughout the day since I didn't see any un-raked conditions. The staff was friendly and helpful at the bag drop/load up area. The only slight negatives were the driving range (had to hit off the mats instead of grass) and I would have liked to see a hole description or picture on the scorecard or tee box. Since it was our first time some holes we had to guess which direction to hit to. GPS would be nice.

Loved the layout. Lots of history. Cart path was really rough though. Need to re-pave soon.

The fairways and tee boxes were in good condition and the greens were in great condition. Very playable with approporiate Tee selection.
Pace of play was acceptable. Course layout is challenging with well placed bunkers.

The staff was A+++. One of our foursome was running late but we were able to wait a little and get out without a hassle. Course was in good condition and had an all around good round.

J'ai été agréablement surpris de la qualité et de la rapidité des verts. Sûrement les verts les plus rapides que j'ai joué dans le Sud de la Floride. Aussi certains verts sont immenses et très ondulés. Donc il faut choisir le bon bâton. Certaines allés laissaient à désirer mais dans l'ensemble le terrain était en assez bonne condition.

Like signs to show you the design of the hole,like the guy in the pro shop having a smile,nice course ,the greens are fabulous ,fairway are good,bunker good sand,but need some love ,cart path ouff, bumpy,must have been great in the high days,at 55$ each, they should put money on the place.Just look at the starter box it gives you an idea .Played the West course

after going to a few courses in the Ft lauderdale and surrounding area we have found this place. Wow what a difference in staff and greeting and service. Right from the bag drop to the Pro shop staff was an experience. Treated like your a member.
As a Club Link member this place has the right formula for customer service. Ive been to Plantation P and the service was WELL horrible and the course just average. As a club link member wont go back to Heron Bay. Have found this place and they are on top of things. Once you have finished the check in and progress to the course the service continues, two cart ladies that must have Indy engines in their carts as you get water, snacks or BEER as quick as you like..TO this course HATS OFF FOR SERVICE job well done and keep it up

The West course at Inverrary is a challenging championship course. If it were better maintained it would be a gem. It is obvious from the thin fairway grass, hard sand bunkers, and lack of foliage and scenery, that money is not being spent on details that could make the course a great one once again.

This course (west) was by far the most challenging and in the best condition of any of the courses I have played so far in Florida; This includes the tee boxes, fairways, and sand traps. The staff was very friendly too. What I thought the best thing was that the playing time moved very quickly. Most other courses seemed to drag along. Before returning home up north next month, I will play here a few more times.

The fairways are OK. Greens are in good shape. The staff is friendly, the clubhouse a little run down. Drinks & food are good.

The West Course kind of felt like an old school layout. You could tell the course is really older, but still in decent shape. The greens were excellent!! I'd play there again for sure

Really enjoyed round. Marshals keep pace of play moving. Multiple tee blocks for all. Design of greens make approaches challenging and roll offs are penalizing. Extremely difficult to read break even after several rounds here. Overall good.
