Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Lesson learned!
We had a nice day but REALLY slow ,,waited on every hole. We usually do not golf on weekends but though because it was my husbands birthday we would. Nice young men we were paired with also gave up. 5 1/2 hours to play 12 holes was crazy. Will go back but start earlier in the day.
Soft but smooth greens
The site of the Jackie Gleason Classic, Inverrary has two courses; I played the shorter West Course. Greens were soft and receptive, but still rolled fast and true. Good sand in the traps. A bit overstaffed in the cart barn leads to cumbersome car to tee-off procedure.
This old dog still has a few tricks.
Course was much improved from the last time I played it. Greens were rolling really well. Great value!
New Year, Same Course, which is Not bad
I’ve played Inverrary for over 13 years now. The course has held the test of time. Greens are still perfect and faster than most in the area. Most Tee boxes, fairways and surrounding areas all leave something to be desired. Value for the money is spot on! I still consider it to be one of the best places to play in Broward because all the other public courses have gone so far downhill or closed! You know what you’re getting here and Won’t be disappointed for the price.
Loved it!!
Had a great time playing here today!! Busy course but great pace of play. The course is in great condition!! Tee boxes are great and the greens are true but fast. Great wildlife to be seen!! Will come back next year!!
outstanding staff
always enjoy playing the course. greens are very fast but true---love the greens. the staff makes the place extremely enjoyable-----they make you feel at home---plus they found my lost club---thanks
Classic and demanding
Great course which has hosted many pro and amateur events. Greens always outstanding and quick. Great value for money. I play there as often as I can.
Wind!
Chose the wrong day to play this coarse. Had no idea when the weather report said high winds it would be crazy.
Not the clubs fault. Enjoyed the coarse and will go back. Large greens well kept. PCe P.O. play was perfect.
Poor condition!
The course in general need more maintenance. In many ball washer there is no water.
Quality Price
I had heard a lot about this course since moving to Miami and wanted to check it out. My main reason I would suggest this course is the price. The conditions were not great and considering it hasn’t had any major events in decades, I’d imagine they won’t be improving any time soon. The east is the more famous course and I look forward to trying that one out next.
Disappointed
I used golf now to make the process easier. When I arrived at pro shop the process seemed to drag out. I had my booking number ready on my smart phone and I presented it to the associate. After a few minutes of delay, the associate then began to tell me that I should have just called the pro shop instead of using the Golf Advisor APP. The staff in general was not friendly but they sure did expect tips.
