Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Bad Golf course
Sorry guys,
I have played many golf courses in recent weeks but none in such a bad condition. That beyond only the path should be used is also annoying.
Old course that needs attention.
The course lay out was interesting, but it needs some TLC. The Tee boxes were awful, the fairways were less than average, and the greens were recently aerated.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the course really needs some attention.
Better than expected
We have played the west course several times over the last couple years. The east always is busier. Now in off-season we tried the east course and was pleasantly surprised with the condition of fairways and greens. Fort Lauderdale is not a golf destination but prices are very reasonable here in the off-season. Beer cart was running and showed up 3-4 times in our round.
The women’s tee-off are right on the fairway without elevation. Not so much interesting to play for women.
Greens in good shape but some fairways aren’t.
This course has exceptional greens
Played this course as a two-some early afternoon and it was not busy. Great pace of play. Tight tree lined fairways with plenty of bunkers. Greens were immaculate and rolled true. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to play again.
DECENT COURSE FOR PRICE
Course was in decent shape. Could use some TLC overall. The greens were great! Rolled fast & true. Challenging holes....can see the championship layout.
Pace of play was awful. Was stuck behind a 4some who played really slow. No ranger in sight to speed them up / allow us to pass. Played 4 hours & 30 minutes and only finished 16 holes before rain/lightning.
Played the east course.
Greens were very fast ...course was in great shape and a great day for the price.
Jack Nicklaus Plaque
Great course for the value to walk in the footsteps of history. The clubhouse is like taking a Delorean at 88 mph to 1972. The greens are as smooth as a billiard table from Jackie Gleason’s greatest role of Fast Eddie in The Hustler. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You will have a good time and probably a birdie or two.
This course has many interesting holes as befits a well designed championship venue
Enjoyed the round very much although I played badly.
Both East and West courses are fun and chalenging.
Excellent course
This place isn't the easiest but it doesn't have the same amount of water around it like many of the courses in Florida! I really liked their greens and the overall condition of the course.
Nice Track
Great Layout and demands a variety of shots. If you play to numbers you'll score, if you try to overpowered the course and find yourself out of position, it's hard to recover. Greens were in great shape, fast and true. Fairways in decent shape, need a little TLC but other than that definitely would play again.
Disappointed
Played the east Course. Green are great fast and rolled true. Last year the Coursr was very good. This year disappointed to find fairways splotchy and very tight. Thoroughly enjoy the course however I’m not going back to it this year.
Good value
Good greens.... I hope they continue to improve on fairways and tee boxes. For the money I would play there again
