Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Know it’s an old Gem. Can only hope that money available to keep this Gem open as it would be a sin to build Condos on it
Fun course
We played at noon. Pace of play was good. We played in 3.5 hours. Waited on most holes, but things moved right along. Greens were nice, and pretty quick. Nice layout, and reasonably priced for January. It’s an older course, but we had a lot of fun. I would play it again.
Great conditions and weather
The staff are well organized and friendly. The course is lush and the greens hold well and putt quick. Some grat holes.

Good course. Needs a little maintenance. Needs some water stations on the west course.

We booked last minute thru Goldnow it was a perfect day , no delays .
Coarse ok shape considering all th ain’t we have had . Will go back.
For the price it’s great
In a time of the year when most courses are $50+ to play, Inverrary offers a nice break on price with very acceptable conditions. The course was a bit wet due to all of the rain lately but seems to drain well. The tees were in good shape and so were the fairways. I enjoyed putting on the greens as the were consistent the whole time. Not too fast and not too slow. The layout was very fun and had some great holes. I would say that this course is routed masterfully. Most of the time when we were adjacent to a hole I had previously played it was hard to tell, each new hole is one of its own. I had a great time and look forward to playing the east course
Perfect greens
The greens were receptive and rolled perfectly. The fairways were soft due to the unusual amount of rain lately. The course drains well and the traps were good.

Greens
The greens on this course were good the price. There are better greens in south FL but not at this price. The hole design and over all lay out was interesting with several pins not visible from the tee back forcing golfer to consider angles. I am looking forward to coming back.
Great experience
Staying with our Friends in Boca and they suggested we should play this course even though it was closing in 2020. Great layout and pretty neat to sit on Jackie Gleason’s old Rolls Royce Golf cart
Playing in the legends shadows
We really enjoyed the course and the references to the previous greats such as the plaque on 14 which referenced Jack Nicklaus birdieing the last 5 holes to win the tournament by 1 shot. Fast greens and some daunting par 3s over water with little green to wotk with.
