Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Good course
We enjoy playing this course ever year we are here., for the money and conditions you can't beat it.
Course was in awful shape weeds in fairway and at edge of green. Soroundings were old and many needed paint. I’m sure in its heyday the course was beautiful unfortunately no one kept it up.
Good deal for the green fee!
The course is old but course is well maintained and a good deal for the green fees. The pro shop has limited merchandise and club house very dated. Greens are in good shape. We would play again.
Good to see a championship course still in good shape. The only complaint is figuring yardage is quite tricky, with no GPS and hard to read 200-150-100 markers on the cart paths. Very few sprinkler head markers either, and since I don't own a yardage finder, I depend on the course being somewhat accurately marked.
I like the judicious use of water, not too many holes tricked up with needless and endless water hazards.
But, I would return. Hopefully I will play better.
Good course
We were pleased with layout conditions and pace of play. We got a very good price for a 2:22 time and finished 18. I will go back
Very good challenge
Bring your A game , fast undaltuating greens , plenty of well placed bunkers. Have fun.
the layout & the green
the layout of this course is a good chalange and the green are in a very good shape et fast,i like it
Inverrary west
Course layout is really good as are the greens. Cart paths , some fairways are a bit scruffy. Overall the course is fun to play but clearly a cash infusion is needed to bring the course and the clubhouse back to”par”.
terrible pace of play
Played today, teee off 03:00....pace was terrible....2.5 hre to play nine hole....talk with a nother foursome who quit playing the second nine on the east course to replay the front nine. Those guy add a foursome in front of them( they where five golfers)....is in it suppose to be a foursome!
Where was the marshall!!!! in front of us a threesome park the kart almost on the greens and tee off....the marshall, they should do what they are paid for by getting players to keep pace with golfers in front of them and respect the rules.
I adress this message to every managers of golf courses,,,,,do your job and take care of the golf course, customer service and staff...this way you will get satisfied customer and and by fact, more golfers.
Nice course. Greens ran fast and true in morning
Course was nice. Good greens. I was expecting the course to be nicer as it was the site of a PGA event for 20 years (Jackie Gleason Inverray Classic). Roughs were very thin. Had 5 sets of tees so there was a good range of distances for 6000 - 7000 yards.
Great course
The course was alot of fun and pretty challenging but not overly difficult to manage for the average golfer. The tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. But the greens were amazing, very fast and fun. The ranger is clueless on golf etiquette tho.
