Good Course, tests your accuracy
Play here many times, many good attributes about this course:
Very nice people in pro shop, friendly and helpful.
Fairways in good condition.
Pace of play is fair to good.
If you are a single they will pair you in a group.
Back Nine has some very challenging holes with narrow landing areas for drives and water between greens and fairways.
There are a couple of things about the course that I don't like:
The greens are very slow and hard to judge speed. Every time I play with a group of good golfers, everyone struggles with putting.
They need to clean up the leaves on the sides of the fairways, difficult to find balls.
We like this course
We rotate to The Babe about every other month. Would play it more often but it is a lengthy drive for us. Nice course that is fun to navigate. Greens were slippery for our outing, but we got used to it.
Course is in good shape
Course is nice. The pace was SLOW!! NO RANGER to be seen. People cut in front of us and slowed things down even more. This infuriated me but I kept my mouth shut. I am a Marine with a terrible temper. I wish their had been a Ranger !!
Short but challenging
Course can be a challenge if you’re unable to it your target or come close to hitting them. Trees can come into play if you’re not careful causing you to have to lay up or punch out greens were a bit slow today but in great shape. Fairways over seeding looks great.
Great experience
Overall great course for all level players. Will visit again.
Busy Course
Busy course, needs a marshall to keep people from hunting for balls in ponds and slowing pace of play.. Also people needs to fix their ball marks on greens… common courtesy of playing golf.
Challenging course, but great if you keep ball in fairways.
Pretty awesome
Friendly staff with nice clubhouse and bar. Nice gathering area outside, and the course was in good shape. Lot of trees, and surrounded by a neighborhood, so bring some extra golf balls.
Great shape
Double overseeing with Rye looks great in fairways, approaches greens collars.
Great afternoon with family.
We are not avid golfers but wanted to spend the afternoon together while all visiting Tampa. My sons and I had a great time and the staff could not have been friendlier. Track is nothing special but it was perfect for us. I will definitely be back.
Need some work
Definitely needs some TLC to rate a better overall review. Several areas were over saturated with hydrating while other areas were brown and in poor shape. It is a good, low priced option to get a loop in locally however, I think they need to do some serious revisions to the entire course to give it a better chance as an option.
A good trek.
Nice course, well maintained, great challenging greens. Was very foggy for the first nine (started in 10) so we really didn’t get to see much but it had cleared by the time we started the front, very beautiful course. Lots of big water to hit over.
Very good value
The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars on the course because of one tee box was mostly sand and one green was eaten by something, leaving you to put thru holes.
