Rogers Park Golf Course
About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Great history. Great golf experience.
I really like the golf experience at Roger’s Park. It’s a challenging layout, especially the back nine. The winter conditions are tight lies on fairways and pretty slow greens. But if you can book a tee time under $35 it’s worth the price. Friendly staff, nice driving range.
city course
Typical understaffed city course. Had to wait for someone to check me in. Played at noon, no directions to 1st tee and no starter, played alone. Conditions not too bad..
Challenging track but average (at most) condition. Lots of thin / bare areas in the fairways. Greens are smooth and moderate speed. Carts are pretty worn with cracked or torn seat covers and missing foam. No starter, no beverage cart. Don't go over the green on hole #8 - big gator hanging out there.
Enjoyable Round
My wife and I enjoyed our round at Rogers Park. The course was in OK shape and easy to navigate. There were no restrooms on the front 9 which can cause an interruption in your play. The course was fairly open and only a moderate number of hazards for a Florida course. We were able to complete our round in under 3 hours.
You use all your clubs
Nice layout for immediate golfers and beginners challenging far three’s fairways ok,greens good and great camaraderie with other golfers
Challenging Track in Great Condition!
My buddies and I have played Rogers Park numerous times and the course just keeps getting better! The fairways and greens were in great condition today with challenging upslopes etc. to boot! Definitely recommend playing this course if you're seeking fairways that are a little more open with less water than some of the other local tracks. Get out there and hit them straight ..
average in my book
average all around in conditions and layout. Probably will play other courses more than this one in the area
Typical public course
It’s your run of the mill public course. Probably $5-$10 over price but it’s so close to home it’s almost worth it. Driving is meh, not sure I trust the distance markers.
