No starters or rangers to keep pace of play in check
One of the best public courses in the area….. no starter to monitor tee off times and no ranger to keep pace of play moving causes delays….. when I’m a 2 some and I keep waiting for another 2 some that won’t allow us to play with them or join, a ranger should step in and make them choose one or the other.
Over 5 hours for 18 holes - pathetic
Greens were the best thing and it’s just because they aren’t cutting them so they are slow and unpredictable/
Marshall’s need to police this course- if it wasn’t for us paying $60+ We would have left early.
Always nice
Great time, grass in great condition, greens are tight and smoth
Played a holiday weekend and to get a tee time for $62 isn’t bad, just wouldn’t pay it on a regular weekday. But kept up pretty well and pretty fun
Always enjoy playing here
Some challenging holes . Greens can be very difficult depending on where the pins are placed. Can be brutal. Otherwise just hit them straight and you will be ok.
Love playing here and we had a good time!
It’s been a few years since I played here. The prices has gone up a bit since that time! At the price I paid $35 per player in my group, it was a fair price and included the cart :-)
Par 72 with great par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s! The greens are in great shape and will definitely come back if the price is right ;-)
Very slow pace of play
To whom it may concern. Tee it forward. Stop hacking it from the blue tees if you can’t even hit a soccer ball with your driver. Tee it forward. Leave your ego at home. You’re not getting paid to play. You’re paying money to play and to have fun, and not torture yourself and the groups behind you with a 5+ hour round. Tee it forward. You’re not in a tournament. Stop trying to reach a par 5 in 2 from 280 out. Tee it forward.
Nice course slow golfers
No surprise to any local Los Angeles golfer; no marshal and everyone taking their sweet time. 5 hour round, behind a 3 some taking turns like they are in the masters, and a fun group ahead of them of with a family including their kids. No hate to either group, they paid to have fun too, but a little help from the shop or marshal would go a long way. Plus, don’t bother having a # to call in food at the turn if you’re not going to start “cooking” until you get in the shop.
3.5/5 for me
