About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Course is nice but fairways were hard...needs work
Hidden gem
The lay out and the greens were as nice, or better than any course I’ve played in the lower Louisiana area. I was very impressed with the condition of the course, especially with the heat and dry weather conditions. The young man that took the course over has done an outstanding job. They are working on the signature hole 15, but everything else was in fantastic shape. Only thing was at the last few holes the guy on the mower was running it while we were shooting and felt like he kept following us along. Besides that, it was a great experience, and I can’t wait to play it again. Be on your game, because play is fast.

Tell construction workers to stop ride between swing n putting...beside that a wonderful and enjoyable day of golf.
Overall god for the price
Fairways in great shape for the most part. Couple of the greens had bad spots but mostly rolled really well. Most the greens are small and raised, making for some difficult shots
best greens in the area
course is challenging with tree lined fairways, water and greens that are second to none in the new orleans area. this course will be a real gem in the next year as it is obvious they are making great improvements every time we play there.
Vastly Improved Course Conditions
My previous round at Grand Ridge was about 18 months ago. At that time the course was in deplorable condition. Greens were bad and bunkers were all full of weeds.
Today showed me how hard the Grand Ridge team has been working on the course. The greens had only a few bad spots which were caused by our current weather. Other than that they rolled very true. The fairways were in great shape as were the bunkers.
The staff was very friendly and engaging.
I’ll definitely be back.

This course is coming together very nice. The greens are in excellent condition
Room for improvement
First time playing here, and it’s clear the course has seen better days. #9 green was half fallow, and #14 was completely torn up, to redo a water feature. That being said, I’ve seen worse conditions, and I did hear the course was under new management recently, so I hope they can continue the improvements!

Renovations
EXCELLENT can not wait until renovations is completed
This course dosent drain well
I really like this course. But today after rain 2 days before was really sloppy and the greens which are usually top notch were pretty shaggy. I'll be back!

Nice Layout
This course has put alot of money in the maintenance of the course. It is really showing. Brand new bunkers and fairways are much better than last time. For the money you really can't beat this course.

This course is getting better every time I go
They continue to upgrade this course, still some work going on, that why I gave it a 3
Installation of new pumps, just aerate the course, which was denoted on golfnow

Need work
The greens were just aerated but believe they will roll well. There appears to be a lot of work on the course being done. The fairways are poor with many bare spots.

Fun course
Staff was excellent. Course in good shape, a few bare spots but hardly came into play. Greens were fun and rolled well.it was very hot so hardly anyone was there so played at my pace.
