About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Best greens
Best greens in nola area. Plenty improvements over the last year. Traps repaired, fairway grass growing in, tee boxes improving and the greens are fabulous. You can tell that this course is really being cared for. Great layout . Tough test of golf. Course winds through a swamp/ neighborhood. Plenty wildlife and natural south Louisiana beauty. Well worth the price of admission !

Best Green In the city for a low price
This course is great, especially for the price. The course is very challenging and has the best greens in the city in my opinion that is not over priced. However, the course could work on its fairways. There are a lot of dirt spots on majority of the fairways. Also the course could use locations for water on the course. I was constantly looking for water but could not get any until i got to the clubhouse. Overall this is a fantastic course.
Still needs some work
Hadn't played there in nearly 6 months. The most encouraging development was the improvement in the greens. Much better condition. Bunkers actually had sand! Only disappointment was the lack of grass on the fairways. Very difficult to find a decent spot from which to hit.

Very nice layout but currently under construction. Greens are very fast and hopefully you are a good straight hitter cause course is very tight and challenging

Very challenging
This course is very challenging an the greens are very fast an very well maintained.

Narrow fairways but fun. Greens are good. Staff is awesome. Very beautiful course.
great value for money
Greens in decent shape--roll smoothly but slow. Fairways a little rough, some bare spots off the fairways, and trees throughout could use significant cutbacks. Very friendly staff and a great value for the money. Look forward to coming back.
Course Conditions
I’ve played this course at least once a week for the last 6 months, my hats off for the staff, they have truly done a lot of work on the course! Great job, good course and excellent staff! Keep up the hard work!

Getting better
Course is getting better for sure, but overall just a lack of effort and care seemingly.
Grass was very long on fairways and extremely long on rough and outlining areas. Rain was through the area over the week but the fairways were dry and no one was cutting grass at all.
Staff would roll through on utility vehicles while you were swinging, overall good experience, just expect less
What a shame
Course was so nice for so long and now it has really gotten bad the last year. We played on a Friday during July 4th week and the fairways were terrible. Tall patchy grass and you couldn’t see where the fairway or rough was. Really sad
Awesome course for the money
The course is very well maintained. The greens were a little slow and could have been cut and some of the tee boxes need some attention but other than that, we enjoyed a very relaxing 18 holes.
Off Cart Path
If it is off cart path , bring some towels cause it is super wet. I will need to come back when it is dry. Water in the fairways made for a long wet muddy round.
Beautiful Quiet Course
Barely got through the front nine when a thunderstorm forced us to seek shelter. The course is beautiful. Greens are in good condition; some in great condition. It was not crowded on this Sunday so it was nice to take our time and practice for an upcoming tournament.
It's an easy drive from New Orleans to Metairie to Luling -- and worth the drive.

your members n their mouths is what causes yall to go under grand ridge will not survive with members talking causing you to loose business the same people yall value your members same ones that has cost yall business over the years so next time u protect your members realize they the ones who cost yall business from the outside
1st time playing the course
I got a great deal on Golf now so I figured I would make the trek from New Orleans and try out the course. Overall the course was fun to play and you can tell they are trying to improve the problem areas. The greens are extremely consistent and well maintained. They are a tad slow but the ball rolls true and I didn't notice any bad spots on any green through all 18 holes. The problem areas are the tee boxes and the fairways. I noticed several tee boxes where new grass was planted and being regrown so I could see that being improved pretty soon but the fairways will likely be another year or so before I could imagine them being fully repaired. Overall I enjoyed the round. The course is fairly tight in spots as its tucked in a neighborhood but I would definitely play the course again.
