Royal New Kent Golf Club

I played on a gorgeous New Year's Eve with my two sons, and we could not have had a better time. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, the cost is minimal compared to other courses, and the links layout is a one-of-a-kind challenge. Highly recommend!

Although we played in late December, the course was a great challenge and enjoyable to play. Can’t wait to play again when the fairways are green.

Cart path only is more challenging as the paths tend to wander away from the field of play at times. Greens physically in great shape given off-season play. Dye or colored fertilizer made reading break more challenging. Overall a must play for public golf.

Golfed here for the first time and figured early on a Tuesday I could get a round finished in a decent amount of time but apparently these issues are unavoidable…

The course layout is awesome but the unfortunate truth is the majority of folks are older and or triple boosted and struggle to hit the ball over 100 yards off the tee.

You could fly to London in the time it takes to play 18 here.

Royal New Kent is a doozy. If you enjoy challenging layouts, beautiful views, and don't mind walking/riding long distances this is the course for you. Went with a foursome and it was a great time. Greens were all in great condition and that's impressive for the time of year we went. We will definitely be heading back soon to lose a couple more golf balls!

I went with the purpose of playing another Mike Strantz designed courses, my third. Came away with a greater appreciation for his limited work.

Every hole was like taking on a new adventure that made you think about where to hit your tee shots both distance and angles - fairways are huge and easy to hit but placement made for easier approaches and the greens — wow humps and bumps and levels made average shots average and good shots highly rewarded.

Playing in November brought pretty dormant surfaces but all were smooth and maintained well.

The staff led by Tim the PGA professional was friendly and when I forgot my range finder they called and met me outside— above and beyond good.

It’s to bad I couldn’t go to six stars …

I had a very enjoyable round. The scenery is great. Love the little rides through the woods in between some holes. The greens have a very interesting grass that holds up well under a lot of usage. I had a blast!

Exciting layout, but it was like watching paint dry. 5 hours 35 minutes and the golf staff was like that’s normal. NO ITS NOT!

Fast greens to challenging for high handicap player . Beautiful course for young skilled players

If you love golf, play this one. Course is outstanding, undulating greens sand and really everything else but the sea. Hope to play again.

Fantastic layout that isn’t being maintained. Not close to on par with Tobacco Road and Tot Hill Farm in terms of conditions and experience.

Shout out to Lenny from Brickshire!!!!!He guided me around each hole.For a first timer at Royal Kent you need a Lenny.Hey Lenny get that shoulder fixed your to good a player to suffer. Good players no problem here.High handicap players very challenging. When back in area will play again.

We enjoyed listening to the starter ,Charles, telling us about not only this course but the other courses in the area. I enjoyed playing this course ,my wife not so much. Definitely a course that we are not used to playing.

Course was in great shape. Greens were excellent. A bunker or 2 were way overfilled with sand and not maintained. Pace of play for a weekday was pretty slow.

Overall, it was an enjoyable round
