Royal New Kent Golf Club

First time playing yesterday. It’s a challenging track but a lot of fun. Lots of blind tee shots, some tight landing areas, and very undulating greens.

Hats off to the Staff at Royal new Kent. This place was in horrible shape six months ago. It is in excellent condition now. Mike Strantz would be pleased.

I am a huge fan of the late Mike Strantz and the courses he built. They challenge you with the best eye candy in golf but I learned not to get overwhelmed by it and just play your game and at the end you will be very happy with your score card. Shot a 77.

This is a course where you have little room for error. It’s challenging, and tests your skills. Only a few holes where you can long drive. The only downside is the aerated greens. Other than that, worth the money and the staff was great!

Was a great course but greens totally suck with aeration marks from 4 weeks+ ago. No marshal to get play going. 5 1/2 hours is way too much, not fun. Won't be back here for a long time!!! Will wait until I hear other golfers bragging about how good it is, but not before that. too many other great courses in the area to waste time here.

If you are one of thos golfers that play because you love the connection to the land, then RNK is a MUST. This course spurs my soul! It is epic. I absolutely love this course.

First time playing this course and I loved it. It does help to watch the course flyover on their site to get ideas on where to hit and what you should challenge, because challenges are everywhere. From elevated to low greens, blind shots lead you hoping for a good lie this course will give you the roller coaster of emotions.

I've been wanting to play here for years. It was beautiful and serene. If there was something I could say is this course is challenging to anyone with a high handicap like myself. It made me think which was good and can be unforgiving for miss hits and hard slices because you will not recover that ball.

Course is great but greens were just punched. Very bumpy and unpredictable. I would wait at least a week or till August 6th for the holes to fill:

This course was a ton of fun - it has a notorious reputation for being incredibly tough, so I played one tee box up from my normal length.

This is probably the hardest course I've ever played. The layout is very unique and it's certainly a beautiful course. However, the extreme challenge of the course does take some of the fun out of it. You'll often find yourself wondering where the heck the fairway or green are. Some of the greens are insane as well with borderline unfair hole locations. I probably won't be back anytime soon, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Greens were aerated a week ago. They gave us a discount which was nice. Greens essentially unputtable though. Tee to green was awesome. Gave us bottles of water to start but needed water on course due to heat.

I would have considered the course condition as almost impeccable. The aerated greens are playable for me.
