If you come to Arizona to play desert golf, forget about Ocotillo. Ocotillo is a refreshing change of pace from most of the Valley's courses precisely because it isn't surrounded by desert.
The White Course is the most unique of the three. It has only one par 5, and the water is a factor on just five of the holes. But it also has the best hole on the property -- the 479-yard, par-4 ninth, which used to be an easy par 5 but is now a treacherous finishing touch.
The Gold nine is a devilish test and not just because water comes into play on six of the holes. The greens have a lot of slope in them and are difficult to read. And some pin placements are brutal; hit a downhill putt two feet past the
hole, and it might roll down into a swale and 30 feet by. Uphill putts, on the other hand, are extremely difficult to get to the hole, if for no other reason than Ocotillo's greens aren't as fast as some of the Valley's marquee desert courses.

Fun around.
I played the Blue/White courses . Everything was in great shape. It was a little challenging with all the water obstacles but who doesn’t like a good challenge?
Spendy but very good
Last year I played to course at $75-$85….it’s $99 now….fairways, tees, greens good, solid service ok range, confusion as to which courses we were playing as they have 27 holes….3 nines
Always like playing here. Was little over watering this time.

Good course, poor catering offer..
Great course and value. But food and drinks offer is way worse than three years ago before Phil took over. Limited menu and understaffed. Especially in the morning. However the staffers in the morning are excellent..just need more support. Please clean seating area cushions. They are filthy. Wenworth have the hospitality contract and should be put on notice to improve.
Slow pace- unfriendly marshals
Was excited to play this course for the first time and was really let down by the terrible shape of the greens, uneven tee boxes and sloppy conditions overall (after all it barely rains in Arizona). I can see the potential greatness of the course, but it was not in great shape on this day. My passing partners said I should revisit in April as it would be in better shape… for the money, it should have already been in perfect shape, I will be hesitant to go back when I can play courses for half the price in better condition
Good Track
Have played this course a few times and probably will again for the right price. Like to see a ranger once in awhile to help with slow play. Other than that has a decent layout with some fun holes!

At $100 for rate range balls should be included
Hitting off mats when range is open is bad
We played as an 8some and kept up easy and no Marshall on the course to question us

Beautiful course, all the water and birds add to the round of golf, play it every time we are in the Chandler area, it is a very challenging course as well.
