About
Ocotillo is a one-of-a-kind golf spot in a state full of top golf spots, and the four-star golf course is suitable for both golf upstarts and old-timers.
Ocotillo's Blue Course is a watery grave; water comes into play on eight of the nine holes. It's not overly long but there's so much water the length becomes irrelevant. The best hole may be No. 1, a 590-yard par 5. Big hitters are faced with the classic risk-reward: Do they lay-up on their second shot or try to fly a tributary that splits the fairway about 50 yards short of the green?
The White Course is the most unique of the three. It has only one par 5, and the water is a factor on just five of the holes. But it also has the best hole on the property -- the 479-yard, par-4 ninth, which used to be an easy par 5 but is now a treacherous finishing touch.

Overseeding
Blue course was great. White course was dry and almost unplayable. I would wait a few weeks before playing here to allow overseeding to mature.
Way over priced for this time of year, why charge full price while course is being prepped for overseeding? Course was in terrible shape and paid $130 …… ridiculous.

Good, but not worth the price
The rough was too high, we couldn't find a bill that went into the rough. We are not playing the US Open. One teebox had so much goose turds we couldn't even tee off. There were a lot of tree branches that had fallen off and just laying on the sides of the course. For this price, I expect much better.

They will make you share a cart with a random. So awkward! Rude staff and not worth the money. Pathetic!!

Great round
We played a great round. The greens had a good feel. The fairway was great. The rough was thick. Great shot placement course.

Overpriced for the course’s condition
The white course was in bad shape , blue course was in better shape though! Still overpriced for overall quality!

Terrible Pace
The pace of play was absolutely atrocious. The staff was unfriendly and there was no Ranger to enforce pace. After every shot we were waiting 15-20 minutes. We got the the turn and two foursomes were inserted in front of us. We waited 45 minutes to start the back nine. They are clearly trying to increase revenue without any consideration for the experience of the golfer. Will not be going back.
