Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Golfer Reviews
Don’t waste your time
It took me 3 1/2 hours to play 13 holes and I ended up leaving quite disappointed. There was no marshall and the pace of play was painfully slow. Won’t be playing here again.
There are a lot of better courses in the area
The course conditions are generally always mediocre at best on this course. It's not a terrible course mind you, it's just not a good one either. The fairways are always splotchy and you almost never have a good lie with lush grass under it. The greens roll okay, but again, they are also splotchy and the ball may move a direction it shouldn't go. The tee boxes also need work. If you happen to go in a bunker, chances are it will be filled with dirt, not sand. There are much better courses in Sun City and Surprise for the same kind of money.
Disappointed
Played here over 30 times. I keep expecting better conditions, but they never seem to happen. They take almost a month to overseed, and the fairways are bad. Patchy and very thin grass, mostly dirt. The greens are good, but you can't do much to get a ball there off packed mud fairways. We always hope they will nail the overseed, but no. Shame, as we like the layout, just pace is too slow to play there until they fix things.
Don’t waste your time or money. The. course is not worth the amount of money.
Ok for the price
Very thin grass so greens fast, lots of roll on the fairways
Poor Condition
Played here a dozen times over the years but found this was the worst condition I have seen. Greens no grass. Fairways bad shape or no grass. Play was slow also this day. Won't be back this year.
Bogey free golf
Course is in excellent condition. Greens are fairly true. Course is very player friendly, although there are plenty of challenges to keep your attention. The staff as always are very courteous and friendly. Best bang for the buck this part of the West Valley. Coming back soon!
Not a bad course
A little less plush than some courses but in good condition. Only real problem this time of the year is getting on at the times we like to play. They have a very large resident community and there are a lot of tournaments on the days we like to play. This day they had a couples tournament that started on the back 9 at 9 Am. We teed off at 6:45 on the front and ran into them on hole 11. What had been a fairly fast round turned into waiting several minutes at each tee. The staff (Eric) tried to be as helpful as he could but not much he could do. We will stay away on tournament days.
Good layout, poor condition
Really enjoyed the layout of the course, good mix of holes and challenging enough. Condition was poor, possibly due to overseeding not grown in yet. Price was good, so we enjoyed it.
El Mirage
Better than expected, not a lot of grass but playable. front 9 quick back slower as they let people out on the back as we finished the front.
