Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Turn the sprinklers off during play
The course was fine but I don’t want to be sorted by sprinklers for a ball hit in the fairway. I know you need to water but do it strategically.
Love playing here
The more I play here, the better I get... been here with some friends, and wasn't that great, but lately it's been real nice compared to some other courses ive been playing...
Save your money
First of all the Google maps location is incorrect its off Cattus rd. Greens where in terrible shape. Pace of play was slow and no marshal. Payed $40 should be priced at $20 max.
Ranger was nice
Ranger came around a little late , but he was nice and advised us that a tournament was the cause of slow play...we were stacked up 4 and 5 sets of 4 people deep on many holes starting at hole 7 and it didn't clear out until about the 16th hole... round took about 5 and. Half hours to complete...but again the ranger did his best to get the tournament group to get the pace of play under control...the groups around were pretty nice considering the lake of pace on the course... which made it bearable. The greens could have been a little shorter, but it's summer, so I understand that you don't want to ruin the greens with cutting them to short. I'd recommend the course to a friend that is a beginner.
Good Course/Good Value
Course was in good condition. Some tee boxes were being aerated. Priced well compared to other courses.
Falling apart
I've been playing at this course for about three years now, and I've noticed some significant changes that have impacted my experience. While I've had some good conversations with the new greenskeeper, who is clearly trying to make improvements, I feel that the course is currently in less than ideal condition. I've encountered issues like brown patches, muddy areas, and uneven grass coverage, which has made it challenging to enjoy my practice sessions.
As this is my go-to course for its challenging layout, I hope to see some positive changes soon. The recent greens and fairways have also been punched, and I'm looking forward to seeing improvements in about a month, if possible. Given the current playing conditions, I would like to discuss a partial refund of $20 from my $40 fee. I'm eager to return to the course once it gets back to its former quality—I'd love to be out there twice a week again! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
A true dog track
What was once one of the better values in the West Valley has slowly declined into a total dog track. Burnt out fairways, shaggy greens, and unplayable bunkers. Spend a little extra and choose a different course.
Great place
I come here to play when I need to focus on my game. It’s intense, which means you have to know what you’re doing. They had punches the entire course two weeks ago, and it’s taking longer for some to heal, but it’s still a great place to play.
Good course
Good course overall for the average player. Ran into an unhappy local, course is literally surrounded by retiree housing.
Pro shop was very minimal.
Good price/time but worst condition ever
In my over 40 years of golf this was the worst conditions I have ever experienced; not only fairways but also greens, tee boxes, rough and some pathways. Also, receptionist/starter although very pleasant did not make any announcements. It wasn't crowded so people teed off whenever there was an opening - at least we got off 20 minutes early.
Fun layout
Played her many times. The greens had been punched, so they were rough but thats expected. We were the 2nd tee time of the morning and we had some either really new players in front, or just oblivious to golf etiquette. Had to skip the 2nd hole or we would have been waiting forever. We were 2 1/2 holes ahead of them at the turn and that was not rushing through. We enjoy it, but know that this is not a fancy course, but can be fun.
Love this course
I play this course all the time and I absolutely love it. The staff are awesome, the people that live on the course are always out and are all very nice. It's a all around beautiful course
