Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Horrible Course
I had high hopes for Pueblo El Mirage. I haven't played there for about 2 years and used to really like the course. In the past, the course was very nice in the winter when all the guests were in town. The course conditions in the summer were not so good.
The course has always had significant irrigation problems but now they are much worse. There was standing water in every fairway and bald spots elsewhere. They don't have an idea where to aim the sprinkler heads or repair leaks in the system. Their water bill but be enormous!
The greens were very bumpy and patchy in spots. I never got an accurate role on any of them.
What used to be sand traps have now grown over with grass.
Pace of play was terrible and I never saw any course enforcement.
I will never play this course again sadly. it is a well designed course with lots of water hazards that used to be beautiful.
Good people but needs love
Staff is great, course layout is good, Breakfast burrito was good.the real problem is the greens are in such bad shape that it is almost impossible to putt. Every green has a bunch of little spots that have dead grass. The ball bounces around like it is a plinko chip from the price is right.
Good bang for your buck
First time playing out here. I was a little spoiled with the conditions at AK Chin Southern Dunes and Golf club of Estrella before playing here. The value was great considering it was less than half the price of the other courses. Course was in good enough condition and nice to get out for a cheaper round on my last day on Arizona. Greens rolled good. Couldn't ask for much more based on the price. Good value for a cheaper round.
Needs a lot of work
Lots of clumpy grass in the fairway and not well taken care of. Greens were quick and true so that was good. It is cheap golf and that is alll.
its a old school muni
This course is somewhat dated. decent layout, areas around the greens were a bit haggerd.
green were fine, fairways fine. I guess when it comes to golf prices in Phoenix this is ok.. Its overpriced in my book.
Probably won't go back. Dry and hard with very little covered rough. All either gravel or dirt.
Great Round, anyone complaining needs to plead insanity
Anyone giving this less than 4 stars is nuts. The course isn't perfect but it's also not terrilble. It's in better condition than some courses that are charging way more. This is one of the only courses right now where you can get a morning tee time (WITH cart included) for under $50.
Also, staff here is always top tier! Pro shop doesn't make you feel like they hate to see you and there's a full bar/dining where everyone's always great. 100% would recommend and 100% will continue playing here.
Play here
We enjoyed playing here again. Really enjoy the layout. The course is in good condition and greens are pretty decent. We'll be back again next winter.
