About
Nestled within Fountain Hills, the course at the Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a championship course with a variety of elevation changes with views canyon and mountain views. It is a desert-style course with some elevated tees and open fairways that play tight with a few doglegs. Water bunkers come into play on a few holes as well as numerous well-positioned sand bunkers. From nearly every hole on the golf course, views of the signature fountain in Fountain Hills, which is the world's tallest fountain at 550 feet, can be seen.

Love to play this course lots of character! Reminds me of courses in eastern ohio West Virginia area where I grew up!!
Pass on this course
So many better courses to play!! Take a hard pass on this one and head over to Eagle Mountain! Great course and even better staff!
Hooked
My buddies and I, we are hardcore Arizona golfers. We go out in the 106 degree weather. UV protection on. Big hats. Lots of water. This place is a great value, and it’s a really scenic course. All four of us love Desert Canyon. Great staff, great restaurant, great golf. Gets you out of the city, and puts you out in the peaks and valleys of Fountain Hills.
Note: keeping a course “green” in an Arizona summer is a challenge, and we understand that challenge. Fun place to play and they do a good job tackling the extreme conditions.

Desert Canyon
Very unique course with lots of up and down fairways, beautiful views and some elevated Par 3s that are extremely fun. Overall friendly and helpful staff. No water on the course but they did a good job of notifying you in advance.
