Desert Canyon Golf Club

Start time was just shy of 8 am, and we finished in about three and a half hours. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape, although the greens were a little slow. My impression is that this will change in the coming days. Lots of elevation changes. Although the course appears short on the scorecard, you will find that to be deceiving as you will be hitting up hill with your 2nd shot quite a bit. This course was a joy to play and we will definitely be back on our next Scottsdale trip.

I hadn’t played this course in probably 5 years, but it was great to be back. The course overall was in great condition, with the greens being the only part I’d give 4 stars. The pace was hard to gauge as there was a lot of sand laid on the greens as they seem to be coming in. But they were definitely playable and rolled smooth. This course has a great mix of long, straight drivable holes with some fun dog legs and great par 3s. A solid mix of flat holes and elevation changes keeps things interesting for everyone. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Overall a great experience. The course was in good shape and is fun to play. The sand traps are under construction as well as a tee box but still a good time. The greens were slow but in good shape.

Worth the $40. Outside service accommodates you well. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to play, this should be on your list!

Nice course, great staff. We were warned about bunker construction and sanded greens. Greens were really rough, sure they’ll be better soon. I’ll be back!

Staff throughout was very nice! They are working on some tea boxes and sand trips so there were workers on the course. But still fun place to play I will really enjoy it when these are updated.

First time any of us has played this course. Loved it, it was the best round of golf I've ever shot even though it was my first time. I'm a very weak player and I shot an 82. Putting for birdies on a lot of the holes. I personally had the best day ever. Dinner next time. I had to get the group to the airport after the round. Thanks guys.
