About
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

Some long holes
The course layout is quite good. The par 3 ‘S are long and some par 5’S also on the long side, at least for me.
Better than last time
Course showed some improvements to last time out but still lots of dirt patches where they shouldn’t be. Keep seeding and investing money. Layout find course condition needs continued improvement.
We will keep making improvements and we look forward to having you back out on the course!
Rough conditions
More compact clay area than green grass makes this course one of the ugliest courses I have ever played

Have always liked Kokopelli golf course. Well maintained and friendly staff.
Really hard to find courses now with an acceptable rate given to what we use to pay prior to Covid.
Kokopelli, although rates have jumped as well still one of the better deals in the valley.

Better each time
They are working on improving the course conditions. A few bald spots off the fairway but the greens are in great shape. Challenging slopes and some target golf is needed but for the price it is a great course.
We had high hopes
We chose this course because the price was very good for an 18 hole course. The driving range and putting green were both very user-friendly.
The course condition wasn't very good. The tee boxes were very chewed up and most had MANY broken tees scattered throughout. The greens were quite pitted from un-repaired ball marks. It just had a feel of neglect.
The cart girl came by on the 2nd and 7th holes and then disappeared at about 4:30 without letting us know that it was her final pass. When it's hot, you kinda count on getting something on the back nine to carry you through the rest of the round.
There weren't any player assistant/course marshals, and no ball washers as well.
The course has an interesting layout and is fun to play. The condition took away from our experience there.
We enjoyed our round at Kokopelli. We were fortunate to be paired up with some very friendly people.
Our only feedback would be for ball washers either on the course or on the cart.
Like any course if you keep it in the fairway It will It’s all good. The greens were true and challenging. All in all it was a fun course.

I liked the layout.
Course conditions really need to improve. The greens had plenty of pitch marks. Tee boxes needed cutting. Some of the very large bunkers I noticed had one rake. If you hit the ball off center on quite a few holes you were in the hard dirt. I understand it’s up to the player to help with the greens, but overall conditions are maintained by your staff. I’m sorry to say I won’t be a return guest.

Nice Layout Poor Conditions
Course has a great mix of holes and nice greens but sadly the conditioning of the majority of these holes leaves a ton to be desired. Too many have far too many bare spots that come into play and most definitely are not pleasing to the eye. Tremendous potential with more TLC required.
