About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Basic enjoyable day
12:25pm tee time ran on time! Nice putting and chipping warm up area and driving range is available. They used a great speaker system to announce who was on the tee and on deck that when warming up you could easily know when to start. Be aware the first hole is a distance away and out from the pro shop and across the street.
Snack shack was handy (right next to hole 10 tee). Greens in good condition and consistent but somewhat slow. Sand traps played as they should with good sand volume. Restrooms clean and available.
Carts had GPS and on course refreshments were available at several points. I felt the course played long as the fairways and around the greens were plush and green.
Good value via a hot deal and other Golf Now member discounts. Paid $72 total. I enjoyed the experience and found the day manageable mostly because for many years I wanted to give it a try.

Best shape i have seen it in 5 years. Staff was incredibly friendly and the layout is good for all levels of golfers.

It was our 3rd round Great staff and T time spacing. For the cost it’s very affordable. We will. E back

No course ranger to be seen. Pace of play was very slow for a mid day on a Wednesday
Huge Improvements Since My Last Visit – Course Looks Fantastic
I played Western Skies for the first time in 5+ years and I was honestly impressed with how much it’s improved. The course is in great shape from tee to green, and everything feels much more maintained than I remember. The facilities have also been nicely updated and it just has a cleaner, more modern feel overall. Great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

They need to cut back the watering. Many fairways muddy because of watering. Otherwise courses is in great shape, greens are awesome.
Fantastic Course for the Money Compared to Other Greens Fees in the Area
Great course for the money. I am on a solo golf trip trying to play courses $125 or lower, not trying to break the bank. This was a reasonable $100ish round at 10:40am. Course was in pretty good shape for that price, pace of play was 4 hours. I would definitely reccomend and be back for sure!

5min tee time gapping
5 min between tee times. Starts par 5,3,5,3...so quick backup on the 3s. 4hr 20min round. The dirt areas have gotten bigger. The brown grass is dry and brown. I'd almost prefer Kokapeli
Pretty good over all
Was a little wet from the two days of down poor before, fairways and greens were in great shape. Rough and waste areas could use some work. Got is for about 85$, it’s worth that much but I wouldn’t pay more then that for it.
