The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Great Course

Well kept, fair price , good food & beverage service. Pace can sometimes be an issue. Gets stacked up on 4 often and can certainly be a slow round in winter. Welcome to golf in AZ. No complaints...this is a very well kept course and the price is very fair. Greens, tee boxes and fairways are always well groomed.

Great value for desert golf

We opted for the 1st tee time we could find, which happened to be 6:20am. Our group was early so they let us go out first.. So obviously pace of play was great. Coolers and GPS on carts. Course is in fairly good condition. The layout is definitely easier compared to other desert courses here. They mentioned that they were in the process of updating their driving range for Top Tracers as well. Pro shop staff was friendly.

Nice, forgiving course

Western Skies was a fun course and speed of play was perfect (under four hours). The beverage cart and facilities on the course were convenient and ice/water machine at the pro shop were appreciated on the warm day!
