Greenfield Lakes Golf Course

About
The executive length course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club is a shorter course but there are three sets of teeboxes for a variety of different options. There are also plenty of challenges to appeal to all players. The golf course's layout is mostly flat and relatively open and it features many difficult par 5s and also some dogleg fairways. Although there are no sand bunkers, four lakes create water hazards that come into play on half of the holes. A notably challenging hole is the par-5 18th, which has a lake protecting the green and also a double dogleg fairway. The course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club, with its nice scenery and great conditions, is an excellent place for golfers to work on their short game.

In rough shape
The greens are in good condition but the rest of the course is not. Very little grass on the fairways and lots of bare spots.
Grass growing season.
This is one of my home courses so I play it a lot. I usually play it just for irons with no expectation of bringing a driver out. Today the greens had almost no grass and were most dirt. You can see they’ve seeded but might be a couple weeks before this is in good shape again. Still recommend this course but would wait till grass grows back on greens.
Loads of dirt.
There has been more and more hardpan on the course.
Over priced dried up course.
The course is in terrible condition. Fairways have little living grass left and the greens are completely dried up and or dead plus they were being aerated. The tee boxes are so hard it’s difficult to get a tee in the ground. But GreenField still charges premium green fees. You certainly wouldn’t mind paying the price if the course was kept up so it makes you wonder what they’re doing with all the $ they’ve made over the winter! That’s just taking advantage of the public because they know the Snowbirds will pay any price. How about the Arizonans that support them when it’s 105 degrees.
Priced appropriately
The greens are in bad shape and there’s a ton and of dirt. There is rarely a cart girl. That being said the price was right
Worst executive course in the valley.
Club house guy that runs the counter needs to go. Cart girl was great and starter was friendly.
Lawrence of Arabia
Good course to play if there are no other alternatives. Unfortunately the last time I played the wind raised havoc and at times you couldn’t see your ball or the greens due to the dirt in the air. Little over priced in my opinion. I will give it a try sometime this summer I believe in second chances.
Hard Pan March
The course played like baked dry Summer conditions.
GO
fantastic place to play, greens and fairways are in fantastic shape. staff is great, they sell top shelf alcohol, a great bar environment for after your round, great hotdogs. massive putting green for practice, and the driving range though not my style is cool, they have oil drums and a car out there for you to hit, so it's fun with friends.
Under construction
Tee time was 9:30.. never teed up until 9:45.. very slow play.. expensive for the conditions of the course..
Not worth the $62
The course was ok, but I don't think I will play there again. The price, $62 not worth the quality of the course. Some greens were pretty beat up. The staff is not women friendly.
Good course for the money. All the staff members were friendly. The Starter was friendly and very organized. Efficient.
