Greenfield Lakes Golf Course
About
The executive length course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club is a shorter course but there are three sets of teeboxes for a variety of different options. There are also plenty of challenges to appeal to all players. The golf course's layout is mostly flat and relatively open and it features many difficult par 5s and also some dogleg fairways. Although there are no sand bunkers, four lakes create water hazards that come into play on half of the holes. A notably challenging hole is the par-5 18th, which has a lake protecting the green and also a double dogleg fairway. The course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club, with its nice scenery and great conditions, is an excellent place for golfers to work on their short game.

Brutal
Course is in brutal shape. Greens are bad the little bit of fairway left is bad and the tee boxes are no better. Fine value at the 15$ I spent but more than that isn’t worth it
Ok
The greens and tee boxes are actually in decent shape. At least for this course. Well worth the 10$ hot deal I paid. The 5 star ratings are clearly staff and owners. No one in their right mind would think this is a 5 star course
SLOOOOW and Rough Conditions
Thought we’d get around a quick 18 on Sunday morning. Apparently, got off behind the owner and his 6-some! Slow as heck and wouldn’t let us play through. The starter and ranger were “too afraid” to tell the owner to pick up the pace. Course was in very rough shape for $60. Played here plenty before but this was definitely my last round.
Amazing Course
Everyone is very friendly and you never feel like you need to be that pro golfer while playing. Amazing people who care about golf!
Range Hitler
We show up early for our 11:07 tee time then they hold us up until 11:22 before letting us drive to hole 1. Then they have idiots behind us that almost hit my teenage daughter with a drive while we were on the green of a par 3. Range master says he is here every day and we always have to tell him to be careful. The idiot drives cart across greens and tee boxes, almost hits people with balls they allow him to keep playing. Then they tell us we are taking to long on a par 4 when we waited for people to be clear and were still within time limits of PGA rules for a threesome and they want us to play unsafe. Would not recommend this poorly maintained course where they do not even follow rules and yell at people for following the rules and ruining a day of golf with my daughter before she left for the summer.
Terrible
They were behind letting us tee off by at least 20 minutes. Then the range master was rushing everyone to move faster even though we were waiting on other golfers to clear. . Ruined my day I would never recommend.
In rough shape
The greens are in good condition but the rest of the course is not. Very little grass on the fairways and lots of bare spots.
Grass growing season.
This is one of my home courses so I play it a lot. I usually play it just for irons with no expectation of bringing a driver out. Today the greens had almost no grass and were most dirt. You can see they’ve seeded but might be a couple weeks before this is in good shape again. Still recommend this course but would wait till grass grows back on greens.
Loads of dirt.
There has been more and more hardpan on the course.
Over priced dried up course.
The course is in terrible condition. Fairways have little living grass left and the greens are completely dried up and or dead plus they were being aerated. The tee boxes are so hard it’s difficult to get a tee in the ground. But GreenField still charges premium green fees. You certainly wouldn’t mind paying the price if the course was kept up so it makes you wonder what they’re doing with all the $ they’ve made over the winter! That’s just taking advantage of the public because they know the Snowbirds will pay any price. How about the Arizonans that support them when it’s 105 degrees.
Priced appropriately
The greens are in bad shape and there’s a ton and of dirt. There is rarely a cart girl. That being said the price was right
Worst executive course in the valley.
Club house guy that runs the counter needs to go. Cart girl was great and starter was friendly.
Lawrence of Arabia
Good course to play if there are no other alternatives. Unfortunately the last time I played the wind raised havoc and at times you couldn’t see your ball or the greens due to the dirt in the air. Little over priced in my opinion. I will give it a try sometime this summer I believe in second chances.
Hard Pan March
The course played like baked dry Summer conditions.
