Greenfield Lakes Golf Course
About
The executive length course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club is a shorter course but there are three sets of teeboxes for a variety of different options. There are also plenty of challenges to appeal to all players. The golf course's layout is mostly flat and relatively open and it features many difficult par 5s and also some dogleg fairways. Although there are no sand bunkers, four lakes create water hazards that come into play on half of the holes. A notably challenging hole is the par-5 18th, which has a lake protecting the green and also a double dogleg fairway. The course at the Greenfield Lakes Golf Club, with its nice scenery and great conditions, is an excellent place for golfers to work on their short game.

Course was in great condition.
Greens were well groomed and course in great shape. Good course for beginners to experienced golfers.
Enjoyable outing
This course is in great shape. Greens are in excellent condition. Pace of play was good . . . No waiting. The rough around the greens is challenging as it is currently lush and fairly long in places. It’s an ok challenge. Swing out of your shoes.
should not be off the paths yet
The course is way too wet to let carts off the paths. The fairways still need time to let the winter grass come in and the rough is pretty barren.
Great Choice !
Went to visit family in Gilbert, AZ from Las Vegas and wanted to get in a round with my father in law and Brother in Law. We ended up finding Greenfield Lakes Course on GolfNow and booked the tee time. Surprisingly it was a beautiful day out and the course was not busy at all. They gave us a little extra time to hit the range before we started. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The course was well kept and challenging in certain areas. The price was more than reasonable for 18 holes and a cart. Would definitely recommend this course. Thank you for meeting all of our Golf needs. We will be returning!

The course had been over seeded and was in excellent condition!
Great ttime me!
We took my twelve and eleven year old daughters to play with myself and my eighteen year old son. We had a blast even though it was the el cen year kids first round. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The boy we was a great value and fun to play for all of us.
A great round on a warm day
A hot one but they provided ice. Nice short iron course. Would have been nice with 90 degree cart rule. Course was well maintained and great greens! Will definitely good back.
condition
greens were in terrible condition due to season conditioning which we did not know. made for an unpleasant experience.
Overgrown greens
It was cart path only and the greens were so overgrown and shaggy it was not in good shape. The greens were a 4 on the meter. Not a course I would recommend.
Great Course
Love this course. Nice greens and fairwasy..just reseeded....;ittle tought since it was cart paths only and we are seniors but we did it. we had a great day...yes we will play this course again. it is a fund course....

Nice people.... reeseeding, cart path only was difficult for this old handicapped guy...I played 2 days in a row...still recovering...
Fun course
The course was very dry and a lot of the fairways were dead and brown. It was a short course and due to the hot weather it took just the right amount of time to finish.
Hello Gwen9613184,
Thank you for the comment, during the end of the summer season, around the last two weeks of September, all of the golf courses mow the grass down to a minimum to "burn it out" in preparation for over-seed. The winter grass gets put down and the course closes for two weeks usually around Oct.1, for growing the new grass and the cycle starts all over again. This is the cause of the dry conditions of the course.
Great Bargain on Well-Maintained Course
I enjoy playing here. Although there are no sand bunkers there are some green-side grass bunkers. The greens are in great shape and can be tricky. I played 18 by myself with no one in sight. Tee off around 3 pm. I finished in just over 2 hours and shot 5 strokes under my handicap. Another plus is that this is a grass course... not desert.
Accommodating and Friendly
My dad and I have just got back into playing and were looking for a place that would be forgiving and enjoyable. We only wanted to play 9 holes and were pleased to be placed on the back 9 to allow us to play at our own pace. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating for what could have been a busy Sunday morning of play. The course is wide open and allowed us to just go out and play, and enjoy the morning. Looking forward to getting out there again and getting the swing back.
Great Par 62 course
I play here all the time as it's close for me and I can usually play the course in about 2 hours. The greens are in better shape than a lot of higher priced courses around. It's a great value course to polish up your short game
Easy. Fun. Timely.
Shorter course, great for a quick round. Open fairways and multiple very short par 3s make this course great for beginners. However a few well placed water hazards provide a slight challenge. This course will test your short game. I personally golfed my best round to date, so it gave me that 5 star feeling. Without water stands in Arizona, i can not give a 5 star rating. A water jug or drinking fountain, even if there is only 1 every 6 holes, throw a few out there and your patrons will thank you. The staff was SUPER friendly. I was short 50 cents to pay cash for a few candy bars and the beer cart lady was quick to cover the 50 cents herself! It was a HUGE gesture and i made sure to run in a few dollars for her once i made it to my car where i had more cash. She wasnt expecting anything and did not hesitate for a second to make the customer happy. For me it is at least a 10 mile drive to the course, one that i will be making more often for an experience like the one i had this day.

Hello zgalloi, The greens are shaggy because of over seed conditions. Every year around Oct.1 give or take the course closes for 2 weeks to put down winter grass. When we re-open the greens are Shaggy. They get cut down little by little over the next 3 to 4 weeks until they hit there final point. I am sorry that you were not aware of the process but it is the same for all golf courses here in the valley.
