Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Huge Improvement
Over the past few years this course was a struggle.....issues all over the place. Management has made significant improvements over the last year which has made this course top notch. Tee to green the course is well maintain. Greens roll true, tees are well groomed and level, white sand bunkers, and very few bare spots on the fairways. They are now a few "rest stations" with ice machines, cold water, and climate controlled restrooms. They recently opened an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant that has great food and is a fun place to hang out after 18 holes. The bottom line is I get to play golf 2-3 times a week and enjoy various high end course....this course easily ranks along side of them.

Make sure you bring your own water and ice because there is no ice machine or water and the bathrooms are also locked at 5:45 so you will have no drinks and no bathrooms
Great Summer Golf
Fairways are pristine and the greens are a bit spotty. Rough is still growing in but overall a pretty solid value.
COUNTRY CLUB ATMOSPHERE!!
The outdoor patio area overlooking the water creates an amazement of tranquility from within. As for the course, it's in fabulous conditions. It's not a perfect course, but definitely in better condition than most. Good sand traps, green fairways, smooth putting greens, spotting in areas on the greens, but doesn't affect speed nor line.....well maintain course
Well worth the drive from the Ahwatukee Phoenix area.... Will be playing again and again, real soon....
The staff was excellent, very professional
Some improvements but not enough
Love the course layout but never in great shape.
After seeing positive reviews tried the Legend again. Still disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful (replaced dying cart) and bunkers were in best shape in years. Unfortunately some things haven’t changed- Greens were hard and very patchy- few true roles. Fairway also hard. Maybe next year will be better.
Overall good condition and a challenging course. A little pricey for green conditions. Seriously the greens need work.
WOW
The bad reviews don’t make sense to me. Pace of play seems to be a common issue but I had no issue. This is a long Par 72 course so it plays slower. The fairways are pristine. Green side bunkers are amazing. Loved this course
