The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Legends GC
Have been coming here for over 14 years. Fun track . The volume of players has increased , sometimes shows on golf course condition. I’ll be back.
Slow play
It’s amazing to me that all a golf course could think about is pushing as many golfers on the course at once. No ranger to regulate extremely slow play. Money has taken over the golf world in the valley. Sad times
Second and last time playing here
First time i played was a 5 hour pace of play. Today was 6 hours. This course MASSIVELY overbooks and golfers lay the ultimate price. My entire foursome walked off after the first 9 took over 3 hours. Pro shop staff said this is the norm for weekends. For the love of god, do not play this course unless you get the first tee time of the day.
just OK
Conditions were marginal and pin placements gimicky. Over priced greens fees as compared to conditions.
Nice and Green
Layout of the course is challenging which is nice. Good condition for an Arizona course. The “golf assistant” who should really go by warden, got slightly annoying. Saw them about four times telling us to pick up the pace, on a Thursday morning, when the group behind us was maybe waiting on us once. We golfed 18 with four people in less than 4 hours. Seemed like good pace to us but must have been some pros behind us if they thought we were slow. Other than that enjoyed the course.
Course going down hill
Have played this course many times and this time was the worst. Doesn’t look like they are putting any money into the course itself. Greens were in bad condition which is unusual. Restrooms on course were awful. On a positive note they are renovating the clubhouse area.
Good course but club house construction
Good course to play and enjoyed each hole. Club house is under construction so I didn’t rate the amenities. Food was ok but high priced for pre wrapped sandwiches that were a little soggy. Nice friendly staff.
Need Ranger on the course
We were a foursome of women followed by our four husbands. T-times we’re 10:37 & 10:45. We followed three men who could not have been less concerned that they were keeping us waiting at every hole. They were not being held back by a group before them. Our husbands said the foursome behind them were also having to wait. On the last hole, they began mocking us. Obviously they thought it funny. We recommend you have a ranger on the course. They should have been told to speed it up.
Starter
After placing my clubs in a cart, I was instructed by the starter to join another single in his cart. Starter moved my clubs but not my Calloway driver head cover which I’d taken off and placed in the first cart basket. Needless to say, no one could find it after finishing my round. Oh well, other than that I had a great time.
will not be back
check in was easy. pace of play on the front was ok. pace of play on the back was very slow. sprniklers were going on the 18 hole. hard to plat through. greens were ridiculous. like playing putt putt and trying to hit it through the clowns mouth. oourse was nice. greens need roundup.
