Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort

About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

Great Course
Hospitality from check in and the course Marshall; the fairways have seen better days - heat and age.
The course is being overhauled this next year; it's nice to play with a mix of easy and challenging greens and pin placements. Definitely will play again.
Nice layout.
Fairways have a lot of bare spots. Greens are very slow but run true. Bunkers are hard pack. Course was very wet & muddy due to monsoons last two days. A lot of sitting water. Cart path only and very humid conditions made the round more work than fun.
The views are great
Course played dry even though it was obvious that it had been watered recently. Surprised at the fair conditions.
Summer deal
Fun course to play. Good condition. Not a long course but water and bunkers will challenge you not to let it fly. Definitely worth a summer try. Usually limited access in winter.
Eagles Nest Round
The golf course was in great shape and the front nine was a great pace but the back nine was very slow.
Perfect Golf (Hole #12)
Got my first hole-in-one on #12 - 165 yard blue-tees.
Course is in great shape - play was reasonable - 3.25 hours. Very well maintained tee boxes and fairways, good sand, and beautiful greens for this time of the year - soft and true. Bought a round at the clubhouse; hospitable staff!
Always slow
I have been playing this course 5-6 times now, this is a nice course, staff is very friendly. How ever, not once have I had the luxury of finishing the round under 4 hours. If pace of play is important to you, don't play this course. I talked to members here and they told us the rangers do not ever rush the members and many play slow. For reference courses around this course I play averages 3hours.
Non member, non issue
Course and greens are in great condition. Steve in the golf shop did a great job pointing me in the right direction as I have never played here before. He even brought my cart out to me in the practice area since they were not quite ready when I got there . I was paired up with two members and it was a great day . I will definitely play again
Good layout with several very attractive water holes
Overall tract is very nice. Only complaint is green's were very slow with some inconsistency from green to green. I was told this isn't normal. Would definitely play again.
Great Course
Looking for a course close to the Camelback-Glendale area. Found this at a great value here. Tee time 8am, finished just after 12pm. Played the whites tees. Couple drivable par 4's in that 300 yard range. Fairways were well maintained. Overall great course.
Way too windy!!!
Love this course. But with wind gusts up to 40 mph it just wasn’t fun out there. Wish you could get a credit for windy conditions like you can with rain.
Gorgeous course in excellent shape
Had a tee time at 1:30 and was finished in less than 3 hours! Nobody on the course due to rain. The course is in excellent condition and I liked how each hole was separate from the others. Greens were very smooth and fair quick. Would definitely love to come and play again!
Impatient Resident golfers
If not for the cold weather that came in it would have been a nearly perfect day. The course is in good shape. A few minor blemishes here and there. The fairways were very green. This was the first time playing for my friends. They were impressed.
Things got backed up for a few holes as we had to wait on groups ahead of us. A Resident who had his own cart which we dubbed "Captain Impatient" hit up into us a couple of times. He could clearly see that we were waiting on the groups ahead of us yet still hit into us like we were holding things up. Luckily he left after 9 holes. The residents don't seem too friendly. I said "hello" to several as I passed them at various points on the course or by the clubhouse. Each one just grunted or ignored me. I guess if they see a rental cart they deem you unworthy of acknowledgement.
