About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

Not bad, not great
Course was in decent shape. Tee boxes are not flat at all. Layout was ok but if you haven’t played before look out for hidden areas of rock and water everywhere.
Biggest issue was the greens. These are felt type greens that make no marks and do not give the ability to spin or stop the ball on the green. With all the greens being very tight and full of undulation, makes it nearly impossible to keep the ball on the green. For this reason alone I probably won’t be back.
Challenging course
Fairways great condition. Greens were tough and challenging. The rough was dormit and tough to play out of.

Close by and a great deal at 60$ w a cart
My understanding is the course was just redone. The greens were rock hard and lightning quick. Other than that the course was great
Ready to closw
Staff was super nice and we took advantage of some great merch deals in the pro shop. They are closing for a year to redo their irrigation, so the course was in pretty rough shape. Greens rolled true despite lack of water. Still Bermuda/no over-seed this fall. Green dye was hard to get off the golf ball, but we still had a good time! Cant wait until they open back up at the end of 2020 or start of 2021.

Not what we expected!
Booked online with Golf Now. Booked an 8:00 tee time. When we arrived we were told it was a shotgun start and we were on hole #3. This was not noted mat the time we booked. We were also told the course was to be closed in about a month for re-configuring. It looked like it. The tee boxes and fairways were not mowed and worse yet, the greens were not mowed and were horribly slow because of it. These are all things we should have been told before booking the tee time. Overall we were not happy.
Bailed after 9 Holes!
Do NOT play this course on the weekend unless you enjoy a 5+ hour round, players who are playing ready golf, and staff that just says “yeah, it’s crowded out there”. Probably not book here again with so many options in the Valley.
Hot golf
Hot day to play golf (107), but cold water every three or four holes. Greens slow this time of year. Enjoyed the layout. Good practice facilities.
Nice Track! Furry Greens!
A course that had been on my radar for a while and could not pass up the $10 GolfNow Hot Deal (roughly $15 after taxes and fees). The staff was great! The golf carts were top-notch - great layout and condition (overall)! The course was moderately challenging but not overly difficult and did play pretty straightforward (right there in front of you). My only comment (and I'm guessing it was merely a timing issue) was the condition of the greens. True and fair - yes ... but extremely furry and ridiculously slow! Although, I'm pretty sure a trim and a rolling should have them running fast, true and fair again. I'll have to return again to know for sure though, as this was my first time and only experience at Eagle's Nest thus far. Hope to see you next time for a better "roll".
Better course for the same price
Didn’t mention the course was in bad condition until I checked in. Fairways were horrible. There are several nearby courses that are worth your money until this one recovers.
