Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort
About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

horrible outside services.
Not friendly to outsiders. My good morning was met by a grunt. The warm up buckets were 8-12 balls short of the 25 to 30 balls we were told they contained and member range rats were Scrambling to make sure they didn't go off with me and my wife, who could easily beat any one of them.
I Chose this course because 90 degree rule was in effect according to the info when booked, and was confirmed by pro shop staff. We were told that only 1 hole was CPO, only to have the ranger start yelling and waiving his arms at us half way down the first fairway, then proceed to be extremely rude about it.
We were paired with 2 very nice gentlemen (not members) that were also very annoyed with the lack of tact of the ranger. One that had played there a lot said the staff was always rude like this and I was even worse at their sister course.
After we complied with the cart path only limitation the ranger actually had the nerve to tell us to pick up the pace of our 4 some and keep up with the 2 some in front of us. This after we had played the front 9 holes in 1 hour and 35 minutes CART PATH ONLY!!!! We actually completed all 18 holes in just over 3 hours, again, CART PATH ONLY.
Course was in good shape, so kudos to the maintinence crew, but I won't go back. There are too many courses in the Surprise area that want my business and treat their customers right. This place needs to get their act together along with an outside services staff enema.
Great place to play
The course was in great condition and was fun to play.
Too slow. Too wide. Too many old people!
We finished our round a touch under 5 hrs. I got a killer sun burn and dehydrated from our wait. It's a super easy course. You can't miss a fairway if you tried. Staff was nice but the facilities are under construction. With the amount of other courses in Phx, I'd recommend a different one.
Peaceful uninterrupted play
Fun, unhurried round of golf. Timing is everything...no one in front of us or behind us..great
Good News/Bad news
The fly in the ointment here was the older woman with a strong accent in the proshop. When we arrived, there were no carts staged for customers. They were all in a fenced off area. When we mentioned this plus the fact there was another golfer who had just arrived and needed a cart as well, it threw her into a bit of a tizzy. She was somewhat of a scatterbrain. She was none too happy to see us either perhaps because we booked a mid afternoon (2pm) tee time. No effort was made to offer any advice or sell any merchandise. She also neglected to offer to sell us a token for the ball machine at the driving range or to even mention we would need a token. That would have required a minimal effort on her part. Luckily, a member was on the range and offered to sell me token after hearing me curse the sloth in the proshop. I gave him $2, inserted the token and got about twenty balls. Wow, what a deal. The driving range was limited to irons only as well. The putting and chipping area was nice.
The pro shop closes at 3pm. The restaurant was closed for renovation. Bring extra water. Up to this point we were not at all impressed.
The outside service person/ranger on the other hand was friendly and helpful. He told us how to get to the range(not near the clubhouse) and the location of the 1st & 10th tee boxes. We saw him several times during our round. He smiled and waved at us each time. There were only a few people on the course.
The course was in excellent condition. Greens were rolling nicely even with the afternoon growth. Fairways were in nice shape too. There were some bunkers under construction. The course has a nice variety of holes and a wide choice of tee box combinations to accommodate any level of player. We were impressed with the condition and layout of the course. We will play it again for that reason.
Summer golf bargain
Took my two buddies golfing . Was a "hot" bargain, $30 total with cart for the 3 of us! Course was in excellent condition 2 days after heavy moonsoon rains. Fairways were in exceptional codition: lush, green & soft. Enjoyable round. Appreciated ice water coolers every 3-4 holes. Would love to play again when not so hot.
Eagles Course
It was not that hard. They were doing a lot of repairs on the course. Crossed busy streets more than other courses.
Makes you think
Course has several shorter holes, which require placement in the fairway, more than bombing long shots. Fairways and greens are in good conditions.
Putts are true and greens have several undulations that add challenges.
Great Value in the West Valler
Considering the heat, the course was in excellent condition. The greens were firm and fast but fair. The fairways are forgiving. It is a pleasant course to play and enjoyable. It is one of the best values in the West Valley.
Great Course
I loved golfing here, it was beautiful, maintained nicely staff was excellent! I would definitely recommend playing this course!
A great course
Nicely kept up course- fantastic staff- well worth the trip to play
enjoyable course to play
Course is in very good shape. I always enjoy playing this course.
Great course layout with great scoring options
Totally enjoyed the entire course, the friendly staff and the price. I played late in the day and found the fairways and greens to be in great shape with the greens to be true.
Great Value
And wide fairways. I was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed the day, some easy holes some hard. Greens in great condition. The pin placements can be brutal because the greens have various levels . Fun day!!
ok
thought course would be n better condition as it it semi private in senior community
Well maintained, pretty course
We played on Easter Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. Very friendly staff. Well designed layout and good use of the considerable water for a desert course. In excellent shape for this time of year.
Corse has some challenges but is not too difficult to play
Very nicely maintained course. Wide rolling and undulating fairways. Not much chance of getting into too much trouble from the tee off area or from the fairways. Green were in very good shape, not tough too putt, but need to be firm and accurate. Wind picked up in the afternoon and can be a factor for club selection when facing into the wind. Some bunkers were hard packed from watering and then drying out. Difficult to hit out of. Otherwise a nice course and very pleasant to play on. Would recommend this course to others.
Eagle's Nest - Great Sunday
Nice course very well maintained. Typically a bit overpriced during the year, but the rate on GolfNow ($50 / player on Sunday) was a good value in mid March. We experienced no waiting and played 18 holes in 4:10 - lost a few balls and searched a reasonable amount for each or we'd have finished in about 3:50.
Eagle's Nest
Course was in great shape. A course for all levels.
This is one of the best course I've played this year.
The course was in excellent condition fareways and greens. Pace of play was excellent too. Friendly staff. Plan to play again next weekend with some visiting friends.
