The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

Good course

Very convenient to my home in the west valley. Good course, well maintained. No eye-popping scenery, but a pleasant course among the houses of the Pebble Creek community, challenging enough from the blue tees. Greens in good shape and fast, some with two tiers.

OASIS IN THE DESERT

I PLAYED AS A SINGLE AND WAS PAIRED UP WITH 1 LOCAL GOLFER AND A COUPLE FROM OUT OF TOWN (CANADA), WE ALL PLAYED WELL AND WITH NO ONE IN FRONT OF US WERE ABLE TO PLAY UNDER 4 HOURS. THIS IS A DESERT STYLE COURSE SO IF YOU HAD ERRANT SHOTS, THEN YOU WERE PLAYING OUT OF GRAVELLY LIES BUT OVERALL THE COURSE WAS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (GREENS WERE A BIT SLOW) AND WOULD PLAY HERE AGAIN NOW THAT I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE COURSE

I booked a Fast Deal or whatever it's called where you pay up front. Excellent value for a really nice course. Fairways cut short for maximum roll and distance. Greens are in great shape. Definitely will play again!

Only one on the course for afternoon play. Good layout, plays longer than expected, variety of shot making, conditions were average.

Nice layout. We played it from the tips, this allowed us to use our drivers!

Our group played the round from the tips. This allowed us to use our drivers on almost every hole. The members and rangers that we encountered were very nice. Ranger even gave us coupons for a free lunch because of a small mix up at the start of our round.

A Relaxing Course

I like to play here when I am tired of really difficult courses. The BEST feature is that there are relatively few outsiders playing and the members keep a quick pace of play. The layout is friendly without being bland and entertaining without any trickiness. Just fun golf, and what more can you ask for? Course condition is always good to very good.

Fine Golf Course

Challenging holes with well protected flags. Tee boxes and greens were in fabulous shape but the fairways were less than pristine. Having said that, the reader needs to know we were playing in the hottest part of June during a heat wave, so the fairway grass was under a great deal of duress from the 120 degree temperatures.

Not the best day.....

Golfing in 120 degrees was not smart.......despite the heat, course looked amazing for the most part. Tough/Narrow course. Gotta be on or you're in someone's backyard. Will play again!!!

Not Impressed

This course should remain private, as they are not designed or geared to serve the public. No beverage cart, no snack shack, no Marshall, no service...not recomrnended at all.

Not a good experience

In terms of the golf course itself and the maintaining of the property, I'd say it wasn't bad. My concern about this course was that there was no service from anyone throughout the entire round other than taking my money initially. I had a 7:30 tee time in a group of 4. Keep in mind that this was the Saturday before Easter, a Holiday weekend and busiest day of the week normally to golf. There wasn't one cart person on the entire round offering services of any kind. By 9am, my group was pretty thirsty for if nothing else, a little water and we didn't even get offered that. We stopped at the clubhouse after the 9th and requested some beverages and food and were told by the two staff members serving the club members on the patio that the only thing they could make us was an egg sandwich and they don't serve alcohol until 11am? This had to be the first golf course I've been to on a Saturday that didn't serve beer until after 11am. Even still, too not be open for food for the golfers was inexcusable to us. We went out to the 10th and that was the last we saw of anyone working for the course until we parked our cart. I thought it was insane that they had no one working on this weekend. It was the first time on this course, so I can't confirm its always this way, but certainly for a $70.00 round you would think they would at least offer food and beverage over the course of a 4hour round of golf. This is the only course in AZ that I have ever had that happen.
