About
The Wigwam Resort possesses three 18-hole courses, the Blue Course, the Red Course, and the Gold Course. All three courses were built on a rolling terrain with mature creeks sprinkled throughout and meandering creeks running through, which can all affect shots. The Blue Course is the shortest of the three courses but Blue plays long due to the elevated greens. The creeks create water hazards that come into play on several holes and there are also many strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course as well. The Wigwam Resort facility has various practice facilities including a chipping area and putting green.

Strange Layout
This is a highly idiosyncratic course. To play the tips, which are only 6300, there are some rather hidden tee boxes and others that are downright dangerous, placed next to the preceding green: never seen anything like it! The layout has some very long par 3’s that are inappropriate for overall length of course and significant difference in overall yardage between the 9’s. It’s as if the whole resort didn’t have enough room for the Blue Course and it was shoehorned in.
Great little resort course
Short Robert Trent Jones Sr. track. Small greens are well protected and a par of &) make the yardage more difficult than you might assume. The Blue tees at about 5600 yards are as decent test for a mid handicapper. Even thought the greens are small they generally have at least two or three defined pin locations with swales and mounds separating them. You need to come into those greens with a lofted club to be able to hold them. Plenty of bunkers will challenge your distance control.
REDS bar and grill on site is a great place for post round drinks and burgers.
Decent practice facility and friendly staff. GO PLAY!
Quick pace of play
Little high in price for this course. However course was in great shape. We teed off at 11am and we’re done in 3 1/2 hours
Fun tract
Although relatively short, the slope on the greens make this course a fair but fun challenge.
Bring Your Short Game
Course was in very good condition. The fairways were pretty ample, except #16 which was oddly angled. In true Trent Jones style, the greens were small, elongated or heavily graded and difficult to stick. Once putting, greens rolled pretty true. Most greens were also guarded by bunkers. So even tho not a long course, all facets of your short game will be tested. Staff was very friendly and helpful. #15, the island green hole was fun and will demand you put your inner demons aside!
Pet peeve
I have no problem with someone wiping down my clubs when I am finished and I am happy to tip them but for the 5 min hires it takes, your clubs should be clean. Never even took a head over off. .it kind of bothered me after everything else was so great.
Sick
Got sick the night before playing could not play and there is no way to get money back have booked golf not for years week not use again
Covid
Got really sick the day before tee time didn’t get to play. Sucked cause I pre payed on golf now.
