Wigwam Resort - Blue Course

Great course, staff was genuinely nice except for the Marshall who just seemed to want to throw his weight around about being on one of the holes that I accidently drove on. Otherwise the only issue was that the greens were super slow which according to one of the members was not usual. I'll be back to play it again after I try the gold and red courses.

I’ve been playing at the Wigwam for the last year a few times a month. This is by far my favorite place to golf in Arizona. The staff is always 10/10, very polite, helpful, and sociable. The fairways are pristine. The greens are consistent. I will definitely be playing here for as long as I’m playing!

I. Felt the greens were the worst I’ve played this year. SLOW and bumpy. I think emphasis was on the Gold course tournament.

Rate should have been reduced as a result.

I was vacationing recently with my wife and two sons Henry (10) and Hudson (8). I have family in/around Phoenix, so we chose to stay at the Wigwam because it was in between locations.

I took both of my boys with me to play the blue course, and my brother joined to make it a foursome. The weather was crisp but not cold. The course was in great shape, especially compared to the soggy fields we are currently traipsing about in the Pacific Northwest in March.

The course was challenging for the adults, although we are amateurs and enthusiasts at best. But the boys were able to get up and down without too much difficulty. We didn't encounter too many sand traps or deep rough, which kept our ball count from getting out of control.

Overall, I would recommend the blue course and the Wigwam as a family friendly destination. I know we plan on coming back and trying our luck on the red course sometime soon.

We played this course while visiting the area. It’s a classic older course where the main challenge is the large undulating (or just sloping) greens. We were paired with two “regulars” who play the course frequently and gave us a few tips re: best aiming points and overall course layout. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was very good. We had lunch on the outside terrace at the restaurant and found it great as well. Definitely worth a return trip!

Nice golf course, friendly staff , well maintenance

Loved playing the Wigwam Blue. The course was in extremely good condition and had helpful staff. Would recommend it to friends and will come back to play it soon.
