Wigwam Resort - Blue Course
About
The Wigwam Resort possesses three 18-hole courses, the Blue Course, the Red Course, and the Gold Course. All three courses were built on a rolling terrain with mature creeks sprinkled throughout and meandering creeks running through, which can all affect shots. The Blue Course is the shortest of the three courses but Blue plays long due to the elevated greens. The creeks create water hazards that come into play on several holes and there are also many strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course as well. The Wigwam Resort facility has various practice facilities including a chipping area and putting green.

Small.....small greens
Course was great. Greens were small so it made it challenging for a bad golfer like me. Overall a great experience. Starter was very knowledgeable.
Chief Wahoo Loves The Wigwam
A great course. While only 6,000 yards from the tips, the fast greens and ample hazards make it challenging. The course conditions were superb. Lush fairways. Lush "green" rough.
Blue course
My friend and I try to walk the course. When we can and this is a great course to walk. Not to long and pretty flat.
Great Experience
Played the blue course which was in excellent shape. Probably the quickest greens i've seen in the valley, but fair! Challenging course, primarily due to elevated quick greens, but a lot of fun. Definitely be back. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
short track with very challenging greens
Championship tees play about 6K yds. Greens small, stiff, well hidden and very challenging. I especially enjoy how every square inch of this course is so lush and green. Played a midday, mid-week threesome and finished in three hours!
Enjoyable
Staff are very friendly. Course is short but challenging greens make up for lack of length. Old style course, very open so will have shots avails from offline hits. Great course for seniors who are losing length. A lot of fun
Well Groomed Short Track
The Patriot or Blue course is a short par 70 great for shorter hitters. The fairways, greens and rough were very well maintained. The course layout is a bit different with lots of par 3s and par 5s.There are some tough water holes that require an accurate shot. Watch where you are going because there are some places the three courses overlap and you can get mixed up. The only maintenance issue was the driving range had no grass in the marked hitting area. I'll play this course again with my wife.
Fun short course
First time playing at the Wigwam. Staff was very friendly, course was in great shape. Bunkers filled with lots of soft white sand. Greens were smooth and fast, with challenging pin positions. Finished 18 in 3.5 hours.
My only two complaints are: the driving range was bare, hitting off dirt. The course is incredibly flat, without the well placed bunkers this course would be very boring.
Fun Day
The course fairways and greens were in fine shape. The par 3's were inviting and fair to play. Our round was a bit slow, but hey, I am retired and the afternoon was gorgeous. I certainly would play again soon.
Great experience
My partner and I made the reservation the day before but was able to get a great price for this time of the year. The course was in excellent shape! The greens although firm was smooth and playable.
FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR THE COURSE WAS NOT IN GOOD WINTER SHAPE.
DISSAPOINTED.
Great Course
My buddies and I came to Phoenix a few days after Christmas, and the course was in outstanding shape. Of the three courses we played in three days, this Patriot Course at Wigwam was by far the best one. The greens rolled well, the staff and members were friendly, and the beverage cart lady was attentive and friendly.
Raised Greens and unreal Stimp Meter reading
First time playing the Wigwam Blue course. Meticulously kept up, beautifully manicured fairways, strategically placed sand traps with soft white sand, and elevated greens that are as challenging as you’ll ever play (Personal compact Stimp Meter read as high as 13.3on several greens......it was a head shaking experience to watch “touch putts” travel 6-8 feet....but that was the challenge. The back nine was short (as advertised) but several of those ho.es were a delight to play, especially #15, the 98 yard Island. Wigwam Blue was a fun course to play and if you choose to try it, I am pretty sure that you will agree.
This course is very forgiving
I was late due to my first time locating the golf course.
I was extremely accommodated and joined up with a group of friendly golfers from Denver. I would definitely play at Wig Wam again, maybe the Gold or Heritage for a change.
Great course
Beautiful condition, pace of play was outstanding, and caught a hot deal for $18 you can’t beat that. Wish the blue course played a little longer but not a big deal at all.
Fun to play
We have played this course many times and always enjoy it. Tricky greens add to the fun.
