About
The Red Course (formerly known as Heritage Course) at the Wigwam Resort, which has received acclaim from Golf Magazine, is one of three 18-hole courses at the resort. Built on rolling terrain, the course features elevation changes that can affect shots. Mature trees are also scattered throughout to add beauty and another challenging element. Winding creeks form water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The Red Course is popular among locals familiar with the Wigwam Resort because it is considered to have the three best finishing holes in the area. Although walking is allowed on the other two courses, carts are required on the Red Course.

Better than expected.
Rated 5 stars but they ran out of carts and delayed tee time by 20 minutes. Greens were in great shape. Fairways were better than average and traps great. Teed off around 11:30is and played in just over 4 hours.

The course was in good condition the staff were all nice and the cafe/bar at the end of round was perfect!
Good course to play in the west valley
Course was in decent condition. Fairways had some dead grass here and there and the greens were running pretty slow. Overall in pretty good shape. Still fun to play.
Wig Wam Red Course
Great Layout and course conditions were good considering the time of year. The only drawback was the pace of play. Group in front slowed everything down and when playing an afternoon tee time in this heat it was not ideal.
Good for One of AZ’s Flat Tracks
Nice greens, fluffy sand traps, & great service all around; especially the bev cart.
Red Course Review
Had a blast! One comment I may have to note improvement is that I don't think we saw a ranger once. Nobody was ahead of us the entire time and we kept up for the people behind us, so everything worked out, but rangers probably could have been more active.
Great Course!
We really liked this course an look forward to playing the other courses there. A bit of a wait with the 2 groups in front of us. Other than that if you want challenge play here.
Saturday at Wigwam Red
Course is in good shape. The greens are in great shape and running quick. I played on Saturday and finished around 2 p.m. Unfortunately, the refreshment shack was closed. So bring water if you have an afternoon tee time.
Great summer conditions
The course is in really good shape compared to others in the west valley right now. The greens are rolling very good and receptive to good approach shots.
Fun course
I grew up out here and even worked the Wigwam in high school in the 70’s love playing the Red Course which has some challenging holes, but still fun.

Great course, well maintained. Greens rolling pure, pace of play and cost we’re great!
