Las Sendas Golf Club

Course was in good shape NOT great shape, summer heat and greens okay otherwise I probably would have had to pay the $300 rate. SIngle player paired with another single and nice couple who were members. Other AZ single was surprised we were charged even the $87 due to course conditions. Nice layout. Tough time finding our balls due to lack of course knowledge. Still played BLUES. Probably played back nine better due to experience on the front. Would play it again, at the same price, Not one to pay $$$ for around regardless of where it is. #228 course I have played.

Greens were slow, dead is certain areas and bumpy. Fairways were in good shape

I couldn’t believe that course was wide open on a Friday afternoon. Course was in great shape, though fairways were starting to brown up- sumner bake season approaching. I had a most enjoyable round. Highly recommend.

Great layout and great staff. The course was in great condition, with the exception of the greens. The greens were very grainy and rough. They are in transition to summer grasses. Disappointing In another wise great day

Las Sendas is a tough, excellent layout. It will test every part of your game. And the views are spectacular.

But course conditions left a lot to be desired on what should be a top-rated course. The greens were grainy and almost unputtable. It looked like the winter grass had died off and the summer grass had not grown in yet? Part grass and part dirt. And the fairways had a lot of brown areas with thin grass cover in those areas. Just disappointing conditions for a course I have played many times in the past and always thought it was in great condition. Not what I expected. If you have never played Las Sendas it is worth playing. If you are a local there are many other courses in the valley in much better condition.

Always a challenge! Great staff inside and outside the clubhouse. Beautiful views of the mountains and one tough course!Good stuff

Greens are small and hard to hold. Real test for golfers not familiar with where to hit the ball off tee. Course was in great condition.

Some interesting holes and beautiful views. Bring your A game. The greens are small and often elevated. If you’re off target by even a little, you’ll have an uphill chip that’s hard to get close to the pin. There are many bunkers. The sand was wet/muddy. For the price, I’d expect better course conditions. They had just aerated. Didn’t learn that until we arrived. It’s a very solid course. But I can think of 10 others within 30 minutes that are nicer and better value.

Snowbirds have left so morning tee times are available! Course plugged a week prior with most plugs removed from fairway and greens. Still with some dead grass patches which just about every course in the valley has now! Pace of play was good until the marshal came by and said we were too slow. We were wondering compared to what because no one in front or behind! Still love the course! It is an advanced desert course and will challenge!

Great course to play. This course had a very nice range and practice area before play… very nice people working there. Course had lots of good scenery and was in fantastic shape. Pace of play was very good as well. Very enjoyable experience.

The course is in great condition. Really tough course. Blind shots. Very scenic. Pace of play was great. Good driving range. Snack bar on course.

My friends and I like Las Sendas and have played here several times. The layout is pretty and pretty challenging and rewards accuracy and distance. The situation we had though was that the sand traps were not what you would expect from a high end course. The sand was really hard packed and often thin.

We played a tee box that added some yardage to our normal round. It made for some challenging second shots but that made the round that much better.

Summer is coming so the course was a little dry in the afternoon.

Can’t wait to play it again.
