About
Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Las Sendas Golf Club's course, opened in 1995 and among the toughest U.S. courses. Two Zagat surveys have ranked it among the top 50 U.S. golf courses.
Las Sendas Golf Club offers a desert course demanding top play as it takes golfers through the Usery Mountains, with a vista of Phoenix as the tradeoff for managing rough land close to 1,800 feet above the desert. Jones didn't create a course with whimsical decorations like railroad ties, and he didn't build targets. The golf course is for those who strategize, mapping the way from tee to green.
After a round at Las Sendas Golf Club, head to Las Sendas Grille, for the full bar, including wines from California, Australia and Europe, as well as four tap beers and domestic and imported bottles.

Fairways and greens had just been punched
We paid way too much to play under these conditions. We were nevee told the course was in that shape. Very unprofessional!

Challenge and great course
We played in an afternoon 4-some. Course is very well maintained and challenging. The pace of play was a little slow.

Great course - but amenities..
Twilight is a good deal. The course is well maintained and challenging. Nice company to make up our 4- some. Regrettable that the 2 last water-points were empty and removed - not good when it is 100.
The grill service was regrettable, but nice enough to provide the drinks for free.

Las Sendas golf course in great shape, always a good challenge for my game (especially putting). Amazing views especially when finishing up near sunset and then over to their Patio for Appys & Bevies

Player Assistant
We teed off on time with the group ahead of us 1 hole ahead. We played the front 9 under 2 hours. At the turn a 2 player group started on #10. On #13 the Marshall told us we were a hole behind and pick up the pace. Marshall’s need to be aware of our pace of play and if a 2 person group is behind a 4 person group that should not be cause to hurry us along.

Pace of play
Our front 9 to took 4 hours the back 9 4 hours. A 6 hours round is unacceptable, even if there was a tournament that day. It is the responsibility of the management to protect all of the golfers from such a bad experience.

gorgeous course, awesome layout
The $69.00 rate was for tee off time 4:00PM. Included range balls and cart. There were no range balls available. I was told they usually run out in the afternoon and you have to walk out and pick some up if you want a little warm-up. There was no refreshment cart and the refreshment shack was already closed. These were all things advertised on the web site which did not mention anything about limited to certain times of the day only. No starter, no welcome. I would play again but not so sure about a private membership.

Beautiful cousre. Range is great ,practice putting green is ok but chipping green is really lacking.

Great course - only 30 minutes from Scottsdale
Sometime you just want to get out of your usual local tracks, Las Sendas is the place to go. Rates are reasonable and layout is awesome. Very picturesque too!

Very lovely course. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. However, bunkers need a little work.
