About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Course
Hard and fast to include greens. Pace of play was poor. Beverage cart was no where to be found. The overall course condition was only fair.
Not a course for older then average golfers
I played this course a few years ago when
I was a younger guy and really enjoyed it. After a few years and pounds later this course is too much for me and my playing companions.
Fairways are tight. Greens were in good condition. Then pace of play was brutal thanks to threesome who must have been first time golfers. Five hours…ouch.
Lots a elevated greens that were rock hard. Impossible to get the ball close to the pins.
Won’t be back.
Overpriced for this track
This course is not a bad track but is a bit overpriced for the course conditions and a pace of play.
Five hour rounds are totally unacceptable. There were three guys in front of us and they were painfully slow. NO RANGERS!!!
The greens were in good shape but the pin placements were championship style. The pins were brutal for all three of us in the party.
We were a threesome who was joined by a fourth, who was the biggest yakkey doodle in the world. It got to be a long day listening to him.

Course was In terrible shape. Lack of water is a real detriment.

This is a nice course but since May of their water holes are dry it is not as good as it once was.

The course was in good shape overall, greens were firm and fast. The pace of play was very slow about 5:15 hours but it was a long weekend. As a first time player it would have been helpful to have some course layout pictures either on the card or at the tee box. Will play here again

Cool course!
First time playing here and shot a 100. The front 9 is very tough! Enjoyed my time though and ALL the staff was very friendly.

Nice experience
Would play again. Fun holes on front nine. Had to take driver out of hands. Greens in good shape. Ted boxes just ok

Save your money and play at another course
Carts were only available 10 minutes before tee time and were dirty and muddy inside.
Bunkers had little if any sand and many bunkers had no rakes.
Only 1 water station on course.
No distance markers in fairways or on paths
5 hour round as was confirmed by a ranger on hole # 4
Lots of unsightly ponds and ravines through out the course.
Paid $120 for a $50 course

Cool layout, potential.
I’ve never seen a course remove the pins with 45+ minutes of play left :-( and a full back 9. I get it, it’s discounted twilight golf but last putt of 6:15 was stipulated prior to tee off. 10th. 11th, 12th hole pins were gone when we made the turn around 5:00.
Played up the road at Power Ranch this am. If you’ve got the option, definitely take it over Superstition.

We review the process of pulling pins biweekly to accomodate ample playing time for twilight golfers. Please connect with us if your 3:32 Start time didn't turn around the 5:45 mark when the pin pulling process began.
Like goose poop?
Overplayed course conditions …pace of play was really bad, watching group in front of us wait for the green to clear on almost every hole before they’d even tee off was frustrating.
Practice facility too small & crowded to really warm up, with rude patrons that didn’t seem to have tee times.
Should’ve not drained all the water…they are now a bunch of garbage pits (smelled bad throughout back 9).

As for our drainage basins on property, Hole 9 was a lake that is now drained. The remainder act as catch basins for Maricopa County's Flood Control District. Please join us in doing the rain dance!
