Superstition Springs Golf Club
About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Cool layout, potential.
I’ve never seen a course remove the pins with 45+ minutes of play left :-( and a full back 9. I get it, it’s discounted twilight golf but last putt of 6:15 was stipulated prior to tee off. 10th. 11th, 12th hole pins were gone when we made the turn around 5:00.
Played up the road at Power Ranch this am. If you’ve got the option, definitely take it over Superstition.
Like goose poop?
Overplayed course conditions …pace of play was really bad, watching group in front of us wait for the green to clear on almost every hole before they’d even tee off was frustrating.
Practice facility too small & crowded to really warm up, with rude patrons that didn’t seem to have tee times.
Should’ve not drained all the water…they are now a bunch of garbage pits (smelled bad throughout back 9).
Hi Monty, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience with course conditions and pace of play. We’re always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your insights on the practice facility. We hope to provide a better experience in the future. As for our drainage basins on property, Hole 9 was a lake that is now drained. The remainder act as catch basins for Maricopa County's Flood Control District. Please join us in doing the rain dance!
Nice track
Nice course in good condition with the exception of the bunkers. They need a lot of work as virtually no sand in any of them just gravel. Would be an excellent course with better bunkers, greens were smaller than normal but putted very well. I would play again
Thanks for your feedback, Bogie! We're glad you enjoyed the course and appreciate your input on the bunkers. We're actively working on improvements to enhance your experience. Looking forward to seeing you back on the greens!

Greens were good, fairways were spotty without much grass. Pace of play was good.
Thanks for your feedback, Fred. We're glad you enjoyed the greens and the pace of play. We're actively working on improving the fairways and appreciate your input. Your experience helps us make the course better for everyone!

Everything great except pace of play -
Horrific- 15 hopes in 4.5 hours
We're glad you enjoyed your time with us overall. We understand the pace of play can be frustrating, and we're actively looking for ways to improve it. Your input is invaluable in helping us enhance the experience for everyone.
Very different 9’s
Front nine is very hilly. Need hiking boots for a couple of holes! Back nine was much nicer and easier to play Narrow greens.
We appreciate your insights on the front and back nines. We'll take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve the course experience. Happy golfing, and we hope to see you back soon!
This course is a cow pasture
I would never play this course again and one of the worst conditioned course I've ever played in 30
Years
I agree. Played on 2/6/25 and it is in horrible condition. For the money we spent, we should have played somewhere else. I’m sorry that I wasted a day of my vacation on this course. Here’s a suggestion for the course-clean up the trash.

Taylorcupp, we appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to provide a great golfing environment, and your comments will help us improve. We review the process of pulling pins biweekly to accomodate ample playing time for twilight golfers. Please connect with us if your 3:32 Start time didn't turn around the 5:45 mark when the pin pulling process began.
