About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Superstition Springs
Course was very nice and in good shape. It was a tough course for me since I am a novice golfer but the course was in good shape and pretty to look at.
No 19th hole
After an enjoyable round, greens were patchy, the restaurant/bar was closed.

Good bang for buck
Tees and traps in need of TLC. Greens pretty rough but coming out of overseeing. Fun forgiving course

WONDER WHAT IT WAS.
THE GREENS WERE IN GENERALLY POOR CONDITION. LIKE THE COURSE LAYOUT AND WOULD HAVE ENJOYED PLAYING IT WHEN IT WAS IN AT IT'S BEST. UNFORTUANATELY, THAT WAS MANY YEARS AGO.

got charged twice
I prepaid for the round on Golf Now then the kid at the till charged me again, I didn't realize it until I got my statement, I purchased range balls then the starter took my receipt. I should have looked at the receipt at the time but didn't have my reading glasses with me. I will contact the course to get reimbursed but the staff should be able to see that before charging me.

Yikes
Sloooooow round. Only played 9 due to almost 3 hour 9. Greens need help.

Early season conditions
Really what I expected for this time of year and CPO and overseeding done recently. I expect it to improve with time, I will play it again in a few weeks.

Over priced for what you get
I especially don't like the fact you take my money when I make my tee time. The course looks great from the outside but when you get out there you realize it's mediocre at best.not worth the money. Just like Kokopeli disappointing

Off season
Course was in complete shut down mode . Should not have been open for play

Needs work
Fairways dying out, normal for AZ in sep. Greens suffering also but still good. Bunkers need sand, but this course features many grass bunkers and mounds and hollows which are very challenging. Staff, carts, range and all else were very good.

Partial to zero play
Part golf now problem. Pd ahead nearly $50 per player. I got sick so couldn't cont after 1st hole. 17 yr old bd boy grandson strained rt elbow on front nine. So couldn't cont. Club house said they couldn't offer rain chk with golf now involved. Reported to golf now. No word back from them. Never again will pay ahead that way. Screw them both.
