About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Skip Superstition Springs
Running behind - claimed an hour frost delay- not sure how this is possible when low temps were mid 40”s! Sand traps were rock hard!
Tough course
Nice open fairways, extremely hard approaches, the 17th must be played strategically, the 9th is the signature hole and deservedly so, it's just beautiful! Staff was kind and courteous.
Nice course but lots of trash
Very nice course except for the accumulation of trash in the areas that sometimes would have water.
Very unsightly.. Hate to see the course not maintained as it should be.
Course Management - Speed of Play
If you are going to pay a guy to ride around, he should be charged with ding something. I played a 4 hour 45 minute round here starting at 1pm. If the "Ranger" would have worked on speed of play, 45 minutes or more could have been cut off that time. We waited on every hole. It's Golf not rocket science. Please make speed of play a priority.
Course conditions
Greatest grass conditions I have played on in 18 years here. However the bunkers are terrible. No sand just dirt. Just get rid of half of them or all of them so they can be maintained
Good Value
Nice course. Bring your rangefinder - unless I missed them all there are no yardage markers .. seems odd for a public course
Disappointed
Greens were good but some of the tees were all sand. A lot of dirt where grass should be and the water hazards were so low they smelled bad. The course itself was a poor layout with a lot of landing spots you really have to have played before to see. Tough course your first time out.
Overall a disappointing afternoon.
Poorly conditioned
WAS a good track many years ago. Not well manicured,. Bunkers had no sand. Lots of tight lies. Greens were decent.
Needs some TLC
Liked the layout of the course but it is in very rough shape. Never had a ball bounce out of a sand trap before because it was so hardpacked. Grass was not cut in tee boxes or fairways for a few days. Just bad shape. Better choices than playing here again.
A nice day
Water remains an issue at this course. The pond on #14 is bone dry. Water levels down everywhere besides #17. Bunkers could use a good turnover.
