About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Play here often, this will likely be our last!!
We have always found this course to be a great layout and value for the money and came here often, but our round was so LONG, waiting behind a group of drunk bachelor party guys, with NO marshal, that we won't be back again! Those guys held up the entire course. Beverage cart leaves at about 2pm and they close up the grill soon after, so if you tee off at noon, you can't expect to go in for anything to eat or drink after. Or even get a beverage on the back 9...REALLY??!! Used to be one of our favorite go-to courses...not anymore!!
Superstition Springs
I have always wanted to play Superstition Springs and we finally went out on 3/7/21 and I was disappointed.. The pace of play was very slow and there were no rangers all day killing to speed up the pace of play.. The condition of the course was also disappointing. No beverage person after 2:00 PM. Stopped at the pro shop after 9 holes to try and purchase some beverages and the one attendant on duty was on the phone and didn’t even look up to acknowledge us. Had to go to # 10 with no drinks. Best part of the round was the starter who was very personable and entertaining.. I’m happy that we played the course to see what it was all about but I would not go back. Sorry, thanks....
Good way to save
Decent course, it took over 5 hours to play 18 because the course was spread out. Rental clubs were over priced and the cigar I bought was dry and not fresh.
Disappointed
Was told at the beginning there was a course ranger out. Never saw one. If so we would not have had to wait so long. We were given the wrong pin position number for the card. All of the lakes and ponds were dry making for more ascetic views. Very much need a book to play this course.. Never mentioned this during the check in process. Had not played this course in several years. Now I remember why
Front nine played in 2 hours back nine 2 3/4 hours.
For the love of the game
I enjoy my time on every course but Superstition Springs pushed the envelope. The smell of a sewage treatment plant was everywhere, never had fresh air. The traps hadn't had grooming attention in quite some time. The beautiful water holes in the pictures was missing and garbage lined the shores. The greens weren't terrible but need attention. Teed off at 12:30 and finally finished at 5:45. Paid just shy of $200. Live and learn.
