Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
About
The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.
After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

I will be back
Summer grass(Bermuda) is in and the course is looking and playing well. Greens are nice and of course Covid -19 ready. One per cart. Holes up so ball does not go into cup. That is a little strange as just tapping the cup counts. Eliminates the potential for Hole in One. Scores lower. Some of the tee boxes needed a lot ore grass No’s 1. 5, 14 comes to mind. New riding carts and they are really very nice . Comfortable with all the amenities. . . Cart o course and restaurant open for take out.
Appreciating safe social distancing
Thanks to our governor for recognizing gilf as an essential function worth keeping in the world of pandemic. Individual carts, safe golf etiquette and practices to insure transmission on the course is virtually eliminated. Hreat work by all those who make it happen at the Biltmore golf center.
We saw non golfers practicing their social distancing while enjoying the great weather and accomodating outdoor facilities.
Oh yea.. the course was exceptional. Pace of play even better. Hats off to everyone at the course and facilities for making this a bright spot during these difficult times.
Wish they would use the pooltube foam in the cups vs raised cups
Links weekend
This is a really neat little course. Lots of variety and interesting par threes. I played on the weekend and unfortunately it played quite slow. I feel the value is there if you find a special rate or play twilight. The staff is efficient and friendly. At the right price I have no problem recommending this course.
Disappointed at Biltmore
Staff needs a lesson in customer service. We felt we were not wanted, the staff was unfriendly, rude and not helpful. Never going back
Stan
Tees and greens are not in the condition they charge for.
Some facilities could use improvement
This was our first time playing the Links course. Two problems are that there are next to no signs designating holes, and many of the cart paths have not been renewed since the course was built (about 1979). One other problem is that they schedule 8 minute intervals which results in very slow pace of play if there is a foursome playing for money. This is not a course I would pick for frequent play.
It's a muni
After two holes, it's obvious this is an old, uninteresting locals course. It's very much a glorified municipal course. As a result, tons of locals clog the course because it's so easy, it's possible to par most holes. I parred the #1 handicap and would have never thought is was the hardest hole on the Links Course. A group of six local men played in front of me. I'd never go back, not with a dozen other options in Phoenix.
Overpriced and fairly poor conditions...
We had a group of buddies travel to AZ for a golf trip and to watch the WM Open. This was our last course and we were pretty disappointed.. The tee boxes were beat up and bare. There were numerous bare spots and mud all over the course. The layout was pretty mundane with a few good holes. They charged $125 for a Monday AM, and it just didn't live up to that. To top it off, A buddy bought a sleeve of balls and upon going to use them on the 5th hole discovered they were used as well.. How does that happen? Just overall disappointment. We will not play there again.
Disappointed
From start to finish, this course and staff under delivered. As first time golfers on this course we were truly disappointed the staff acted somewhere between bored and annoyed with our questions.. Although experienced golfers, our twosome was unfamiliar with the cart GPS system and did not appreciate feeling stupid because we didn't know how to activate all the features. There was no starter on the first hole and no course marshal. The drink girl and young lady selling hot dogs seemed to be the only source for directions or questions. The course is okay, but nothing special. There were some interesting holes and the weather was great so that was a plus. If you do play this course, be sure and use a discount site because full price isn't worth it.
Poor pace of play
Tee times are booked every 6 minutes so the pace is very slow. 4 hours to finish 15 holes when darkness set in and we were advised the cart was to be back to the clubhouse by 5:45. Fairways are lush and the greens are very challenging. Played on a Monday holiday where pace was slow and no Marshall’s were to be seen. We played the links course and hole ten was very difficult to find.Local walkers directed us to the tenth. Many times there were people walking dogs on the cart paths further causing slower pace of play
