The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.

After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

Looking to do more than get on the Links at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club and have a nibble and a cup? Look into one of several packages available, including stay-and-play deals.

It is nice area to play.

I played the links course. The greens had been aerated the week before but they already had started to fill in. The price was excellent. The front nine was a pretty basic with water on two holes. the back nine was more of a challenge with elevation changes ,, sloped fairways and one hole that was under 300 yards but you only had 200 yards to a lake between you and the green. I would play here anytime.

Tee times are poorly done

I would not normally complain. However not being able to finish because the staff wants to leave (words from the staff) is frustrating and pathetic. I work in the industry and to hear that the staff cat leave because we are not finished is disrespectful and rude. I will no longer play at the Biltmore courses because of the rude golf staff and the disrespect towards players.

Play a ton if you can stand the heat

I played both the Adobe and the Links course over the course of 3 days. I essentially played 9 rounds in 3 days. Every morning I was with a group, but my afternoon rounds in the blazing heat nobody was on the course so I could play 2 balls all the way through. Wow are my hands raw. Anyway, regarding the courses....

Adobe: Much more difficult than I thought it was going to be. Namely because almost every green is guarded at front left and right by bunkers. I have never spent so much time in the sand. The fairways were relatively wide open with nothing special to speak of. The greens rolled fast but were pretty flat.

Links: I thought this was going to be the harder of the two courses for me namely because it is a links course and I often struggle on that style of course. However I was hitting my tee shots well so that helped. Again bunkers were at front left and right of almost every green. The fairways had more turns and dips to them in this course which made it a little more interesting and there were some trees to contend with in certain areas. The #15 par 3 from the elevated tee box is a fun play as well as a spectacular 360 degree view of the surrounding area.

Expectations Suck

Having been a lifelong Valley resident, I looked forward to my first round at such a prestigious location.

I was met however with uneven conditions and poor course quality. Granted, I paid a lower rate for a twilight hour, but for the location and reputation, the course seriously lacking.

The course was in excellent shape..

The course was in excellent shape. Supervisor it's a bonus for this. On the other hand friendliness out of the staff is lacking. Unorganized for the first morning teetime's. Par three key boxes are rough. No sand tefillin that did it. And since it's vacationers they're not taking the time to grab a bottle of sand out of their cars. This is one item management should dress. Slow play. And no starter on the number one hole.. Confusion and disorganized at the number one. For being an upscale hotel golf course this is one area they shouldn't cut back.

Easy but interesting

We played the Links course, which is very fun. There are several unique holes, which make it a very interesting course to play. The staff was excellent--warm, helpful, courteous. The beverage cart service was very attentive. The course was beautiful, and is very well maintained.

Great Location, fun course

Pace of play was severely impeded by the release of a slow group onto the back nine. Pace of play was great until we made the turn and realized that someone had been sent off in between us and the group that was in front of us on the front nine. We skipped a hole in order to keep moving, 110 degrees plus, and then had that group right behind us for 2 or so holes. I understand that the amount of players on the course were limited and that most likely they would not have ran into anyone but this should have been verified by the shop before these guys were just sent out to play the back. I also understand that the back nine on the Links is probably more enjoyable and interesting to play than the front. This was a frustrating experience for an otherwise fast enjoyable round. Otherwise service was friendly and course was in decent shape.

Not a typical "cookie cutter" course...with each hole resembling the others. There's enough variety...especially The Links Course...hardly boring

Have played this for years...in decent condition for July...except for the surface of the greens....very slow and uneven. Perhaps in a few weeks they will be improved.

Great job keeping it nice thru summer

Summer is tough on the courses in Phoenix. Biltmore has done a fantastic job of keeping the course in awesome condition. Greens are a little slower right now but that has a few more putts going in so......In two more weeks it will be PERFECT...written 6-28-13

Good course for the money

Play was a little slow but still a good value. The staff is very nice and the ranger was trying to speed up play. Group in front of us were hackers so that didn't help. Overall I like this course and would play again.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

As you might expect from a Biltmore golf course, it was in excellent condition given the early summer 100+ temperatures that prevailed. Just what you would expect from an older high-end resort course. Not too difficult but enjoyable for all handicaps. Recommended for a pleasant experience.

Slow Play

We, a two-some, played the Links course around mid-morning. There was another two-some ahead of us, but they moved along okay until about the 5th hole, then it was all over. The pace of play slowed to less than a crawl. Ended up being a 5 hour plus round. Wish people would play from the tees appropriate for their skill level and not their ego. Course was okay, but not likely to return unless get some rangers out there to move folks along. Cart people were very good, person in the golf shop was exceptionally nice and friendly. I only recommend this with the advisement that you allocate lots of time to play.
