The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

Dollars Wasted
Dry as a rock. Greens as much sand as grass. Dead trees and tree litter (sticks and downed tree limbs) everywhere. Not worth the bother. Arrived early but starter held us until four players arrived although there was no one else going off the tee box for at least 30 minutes. Through the entire round we saw no one behind us or in front of us for multiple holes.

This course was in absolutely horrendous condition.
Worst I’ve played in a long time. Place might be worth a $10-$15 fee but no more than that.
Save your money and just hit range balls. That’s it that’s all.

Nice Course but greens were hurt.
the course was nice I enjoyed it but putting was definitely not fun for the day. the greens were on the verge of being lost. I did have fun because the course was very playable, with some challenging holes. great location and easy to find. the only reason I chose to not recommend to a friend is because of the greens. Putting is the most important part of the game. absolutely no fun to hit a great shot and can't make a decent putt for birdie.

Awful greens
This course was not worth the $90 they charged per round. The greens were painted and you could see grass seed on the greens. I have never played on worse greens. The course needs lots of renovation

Value for cost
Not a bad little course, but fairways are lined with houses and rough patches.

Wow, those are some poor greens
had fun w/course layout and played friendly with my spouse. We both agree that we've never seen worse greens. Terrible condition. And inconsistent to boot....

Golf in AZ during March
Basically your typical old neighborhood course with 380yd par 4s and 525 par 5s. Course was in decent shape for March. Stay in the fairways and things are great. Off the fairway not so much, but I’ve played tracks like this out here before. Greens were ok and had some rough spots. Staff was super friendly and doing the best with what they have to work with. I paid $45 on a GN Hot Deal and that would be the max I would pay for this place until the greens get better.

Awful greens
The greens and fairways were in horrendous condition. Considering we’ve gotten so much rain in the past couple months I was surprised to see so many dirt patches on the fairways. The greens were absolutely awful as well. This round was way over priced considering the condition that the course was in.

Great Day with the Ladies
While the conditions were a bit rough, my golf girls and I had a great day at Ahwatukee GC. The
Course has personality, and the beer girl and staff in the restaurant were friendly and accommodating. Food and beverages were a good value and delicious. Definitely keeping this course on the list for future girls golf trips to the area.

Can be better
Very bad greens , course layout is good however the fairways and greens were poorly maintained and I don’t think it was worth the money we paid to play . Honest feedback they need to up their game and not just charge high fees due to the limited weather window . Give people worth their money
