Lookout Mountain Golf Club

This course is always in great condition and the staff is always friendly. You gotta play this course.

Although I really wanted to play today the course was certainly soaked and there was supposed to be lightning. So yesterday i called within the 48 hour cancellation window and the pro and Matthew were kind enough to cancel my tee time. This is one of the many reasons that I will continue to be a grateful customer to Lookout. Here’s to teeing it up next Saturday. Thanks guys

I just finished my round at Mountain View. The course is in great shape with beautiful vistas from every hole. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the golf shop was great.

Challenging course. You have to think about club choice

It’s a resort… 5 hours to play. The course is worth it if the staff would remove the slow groups but they refuse. Your day will be ruined along with others because of one group if you play here. And the cart almost died calling it on 13 driving in….

A good day to golf in the desert. Elevation changes keeps you on your toes and provides great views. Lots of small wildlife around and when you catch a breeze its manageable. Starter Ira was informative and helpful to get us going as was Craig at the outside service area.

Played this on Sunday and it was great as usual. Staff is always first class at this facility. The course is so unique it is a challenge for all skill levels. The putting green was closed for some work but the greens on the course were in great shape! One of the absolute best summer deal so I highly recommend!

This is an interesting layout, with lots of hills and some very challenging shots. Greens are small, and fast. The course is pretty beat up, with many shots from bare ground, even in the fairways. Bunkers are fair but found most to be either muddy or rocky. A couple holes are a bit cheesy, like a 112 yard par 3 from the back tees or a 90 degree dog leg left on a 280yd par 4. The first impression is the 80s vibe to the clubhouse, and the 1/2 mile cart drive along the busy road to get to the range and first hole. Pretty unique feel to the place. Staff is awesome, and very friendly and helpful. Worth the off season price, but would be hard pressed to pay any more any other time of year.

Loved the elevation changes, the course was in good shape. Greens a bit slow-hadnt been cut recently. Love the neighborhood layout around the course some of best in AZ. Only complaint, the bunkers were terrible- very inconsistent in tecture- some hard, some with lots of small rocks-some had very shallow dirt mix sand.

AZ has the worst bunkers in the west.

Altogether it is great value for the money compared to all the other courses in the summer months. Staff is always friendly and the starter does a great job.

Had an awesome overcast day of golf in July! Course was green and challenging as usual! I’ll be back!
