San Tan Highlands

Best fairway and greens conditions I’ve ever seen. Course looked better then ever. Greens were slow but only because they just over seeded and haven’t cut them yet. New carts are better than the old ones. Still not sure why they don’t have ball cleaners on the carts or on any holes. The pace was horrific. We were behind the Cressey group and they think they can go as slow as they want. It was maddening.

Showed up 45 minutes early for my tee time to hit the driving range before. Practice green and driving range were both closed and nothing is stated on Golf Now about this.. Greens are extremely slow due to overseed and whole course was cart path only. Pace of play was 4 hrs 15 minutes even on a weekday late morning/afternoon tee time. Love this course layout but the conditions/amenities aren’t good right now. I will wait a few weeks to come back.

It was hot and no beverage cart was out and no water was offered, dissapointed

Course was in good condition coming off overseed. Greens were inconsistent but will get better. No bathroom code issued created a little frustration. The fact that no carts on the course rather than 90 degree entrance made the day long. Overall course played well , other than long delay at the turn.

I've played her twice since the 2023 overseed and it is in fabulous shape! The rebranding of the club came with new carts, which was nice. Love the restaurant here too, not so much during play but for their evening events/music on Tuesdays and Fridays.

I consider this my home course and play it a couple times per month. The course was in great shape overall but was just re-seeded. It was cart path only and it makes you get your exercise. The greens were pretty slow. There was an extremely slow foursome in front of us that let us play through at the turn. It was a 4 hour round total. The staff is friendly and they just got brand new golf carts. It a great value and the back nine has some nice elevated tee boxes. I would say the difficulty is medium compared to other local courses.

Driving range and putting green was closed. Greens were uncut and very slow. But no discount. Fairways were very good however.

Played first round after fall course maintenance completed.

Course is in great shape, when the greens speed up it should be great, will definitely play again!

It’s been years since I’ve had the opportunity to play this course again. I remember when the course first opened and how bare everything was out in the area. The course was great to play back them and it was even more enjoyable now after so many years of not being out this way available to play the course again.

I love the back nine, but the front nine offers a great experience with various traps and obstacles along with challenging greens.

Very well kept especially during the summer but overall one of my top 5 courses to play. They recently upgraded to a new system in the pro shop which didn’t have the correct rates booked online, but the pro shop manager took time to help make everything good.

Overall great experience and hope to be back soon!
