About
McCormick Ranch Golf Club features two lush manicured year-round courses amid the lovely views of Scottsdale. Both the Palm and Pine golf courses' championship tees lay to over 7,000 yards, and there are also the options of men's, seniors' and ladies' tee sets to allow everyone a crack at the tests offered by these golf courses.
Golf Illustrated selected the ninth hole of the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club to be "One of the USA's Top 18 Water Holes." It's just one of 10 water holes on the golf course, which, as you might imagine, also features lots of big palms. In all, the golf course plays to over yards from the blue tees, including four par-5 holes that measure over 500 yards.
A round of golf on the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which plays close to 400 yards from the blue tee and requires a drive right-center to ensure a short-iron second shot.

Good Value
Had an afternoon time on 5/24. Played in about three hours and change. I think this course was a bit more challenging as far as length and shot shaping than some of the neighboring courses. Good value for this style of course.
Not worth the $
Most greens had spotty grass coverage. Fairways were in ok condition. Tee boxes were well worn. Staff was great. Not worth $150 compared to other courses in the Valley. We should have paid a bit more for a much better outtong.
Very Tired Course
Played Palm course and it was very tired. Greens were not in bad shape, but rest of course especially back nine was horrible. Pace of play was very bad as well took over 4:45 to play.
Very Disappointing
Not worth the money not matter how much you pay. Take your life in your hands on the first tee as no fencing between that and the driving range. Restrooms on the course were dirty and run down.
Ok course … greens fees high, rental clubs sub par.
Course was in decent condition. Pace of play was >4hrs for 18. Slow for not being that busy. Club House and Proshop above average. Friendly staff, sub par rental clubs comparatively to greens fees. Wouldn’t pay more than $100 to play again. Many other options in the area.
Way overpriced for what you get!
We played the Palm course. The staff in the pro shop were not friendly and other players were discussing it as well. On hole 2 as I was teeing off from the red Tees a ball from the driving range just missed me. The website brags about the course but honestly we played nicer courses for 1/2 the price.
The starter was very friendly. We were paired up with a very nice young couple which made the round enjoyable! It appears as this course is more geared for tournament play with little effort into upkeep of the course.
Needs some work
There are many BARE spots on the course and many with no grass at all. For the price we paid I wish I had known. Greens were OKbut some silly pin placements make it not enjoyable.

Palms front 9 beautiful. Grass is perfect. Staff was super nice. Lots of Water.
Fun and challenging course
The course was great, staff is friendly, and the course is challenging. Multiple holes surrounded by sand traps, swamps/water and makes it difficult to get on without under or over shooting. Great time, would recommend.
