Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort

If you are looking to play a more traditional course with trees and water. Orange Tree is a very nice layout. Very forgiving fairways. Bunkers need work. But beyond that a good course for locals and someone not wanting to spend $200 a round on to play.

I was paired with three very nice ladies in town for a wedding. The course is in average to fair condition for the most part. Tee boxes could use a little work. Greens were in fair to good condition. The Ranger was Borderline rude,. We tried to play at the fast as possible pace, but he kept checking on us which made for a somewhat annoying experience throughout the round.

The course definitely shows its age but presented a fair mix of challenges throughout. they have a very nice Pro Shop and friendly card attendants. I would return, but would like to play other courses first. A little pricey given the age and condition of the course, but probably fair for the area and time of year. overall I did have a pretty good experience.

Course was generally nice. Greens were in good shape and had some tricky rolls. There were some very wet spots that resulted in mud lies that were almost unplayable. This was particularly evident in several of the bunkers.

The starter was very unfriendly to the golfers. One player even asked him if he got up on the wrong side of bed. We both found him very unpleasant. Pro shop employees were very friendly.as was the course ranger. I am trying to be kind but I am 73 and played on 73 of the best courses in US and this was the rudest starter I have run into. No reason, we’re not busy. He shouldn’t be in customer service.

I haven't played at Orange Tree Golf Club for a few years and was surprised at the mediocre condition of the course. Something must be going on financially because the condition of the course has declined significantly.

Fairways were inconsistent, some areas not in good shape, lots of muddy spots. Bunkers were terrible shape.

The course was in good shape and the staff were friendly. It was a Tuesday and we had to wait on every hole (slow pace for a Tuesday and saw no marshall speeding up pace of play. Price for 3 golfers at twilight with two club rentals was near to $500 US. The rentals weren't complete sets (one missing a putter originally, and others were missing throughout.) I'm just glad someone else paid.

We got paired up with 2 very nice gentlemen.

The course does not have great vistas or signature holes but it is nicely maintained.

Range balls are extra. There is service on the course.

All considered a nice round even though somewhat pricey for what the course offers. It is Scottsdale however and November so maybe I don’t have a fair estimation of price ranges for the season.

It was a Sunday in early November, so I guess it is what you'd expect. Packed with players and really slow. A decent layout though and the course was in pretty decent condition.

Greens were very inconsistent! The course was forgiving and challenging! Bunkers needed real sand. On some of the greens the pin location was place on areas of green that had no grass or was burnt from too much fertilizer. If your Tee time was later than 10, count on very slow pace of play! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was FUN! I will definitely give it another try😉

Amenities, staff, etc. we’re all very good. Pace of play good, as not very crowded. However, Overall course conditions were disappointing for price. Would not play here again unless price significantly reduced. Paid $89 and back home in Illinois this would be a $45 course on a Monday.
