Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
About
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Not Worth Playing
Course was bad. Real burned out fairways & tee boxes. Greens were marginal (at best). Driving range resembled a cow pasture.
Hot day golf
Hot day and hard ground goes with Sun valley at this time . . Sand bunkers need attention
Nice course
Great day on this course. Good conditions and a big maintenance staff on the course. Golfing was light because of the summer heat. Overall a really fun course and a great day to be out golfing. Snack bar and restaurant were very nice also!
Good Value-Great Times
Had a good day at OrangeTree, was a hot one for sure but the grass was super green none-the less. Only complaint I have was pace of play, 18 holes took about 4 1/2 hours, on every hole we waited about 10 minutes for the group in front of us to move along, but it seems like everyone was having that issue, could just be the AZ heat! Saw the beverage/snack cart about 8-9 times which was very nice due to the 108 degree heat we were in. Will definitely be back!!
Ok
Dry and patches everywhere on the fairway...Greens ok...no water tanks on golf course
Mostly a flat course ...no frills..but pricey for 11am tee time
Value for Money
Played Orange Tree on a 100 degree day. Plenty of shade and finished (twosome) in under 3 hours. Was not overheated.
Only $19 on TeeOff. But greens were spotty and bumpy. Fairways were bare in spots. Traps were crusty but at least had a decent amount of sand.
For that price I would, and will, return, but, like many courses in Phoenix, Orange Tree is struggling under this drought.
Charged twice
DO NOT BOOK ON GolfNow. The course will charge you twice even after you paid when you got there. Im not sure if this is an accident or if they intended to double charge but don't trust this course on GolfNow. you won't be able to get a hold of management to discuss either. we all paid on arrival and then They reported to golf now we didn't....complete BS
Pace of plau
First time 5 hour round. Second time 3 hour nine and I quit. Back 9 looked like it was going to be 3 hours also.
Good course for the money
The pace of play was very good. I started around noon and finished in 3 hours. It was nice to see the cart person come around a couple times. The course seemed like it was starting to get the usual summer brown conditions but overall it was in decent shape. I was told that aerating may start the week of June 6. You might want to check for notices on GolfNow or contact the golf shop for specific details.
Great Value
It’s June and the course is still in solid condition imo. The grounds crew is hard at work to keep this course good for us all summer. The greens roll. The traps actually have sand and are not the clay river basins you experience at other courses in this price range. The beverage cart came around 5+ times. Will be a run I visit all summer long with my golf pals.
