Golfer Reviews
Starfire mulligan 9 is a decent quick to play par 28. greens are decent. little on the slower side. tee boxes need some work.
Great place for a weekly round!
I really enjoy the Mulligan 9 course at Starfire. Greens are nice and multiple water features make you concentrate on accuracy over the long ball. Great time to bring out friends or coworkers!
Disappointed
We would have liked our own carts due to virus but not allowed. Also on one week we could rtn to our cars with the golf cart, unload our clubs and then return cart. This week not allowed. The course condition of the 9 hole is in bad shape compared to the 18 hole course. In addition more signs are needed on direction of course. A group ahead of us got loss and then dropped in to play where we were. Just some thoughts for house cleaning.
SweetP
Love this course - just learning and actually my family has owned a house on this course for 50+ years and we love it.
The only problem today; I hit my best drive of the day and someone played my ball!
Mulligan 9
Very nice for a 9 hole. Great layout, greens were in good shape, layout was tough. Some bunkers were nice and soft, others were concrete. The transition from hole 8 to 9 is a bit confusing but that will come with time. Enjoyed this course, nice bang for your buck!
Starfire made a good decision to convert the old Squire standard 9 hole course to a par 28 short course plus a driving range. The new short course plays to a range of difficulty with multiple tee choices. It is better maintained and more fun to play than the old Squire layout.
Great pleasant ciurse
Enjoy the Mulligan course before the heat. Great condition!
Great Course but too many pauses
Golf course is awesome but the pace can be slowed down a lot as there are a lot of residents who often walk the course and stop the pace that you are in, especially if you have a part of 4 like we did. I am sure the county club knows about it, but be aware that there are constantly people walking that are not golfing and it will slow down your play.
Great Tune Up
What a fun little Executive course to tune up the short game or just bring the family out for a fun outing. Very short layout but great conditions. Staff are very accommodating. Just plain fun!
Great Course for Date Night
Fun course to get in a quick round before it gets dark. Not the easiest par 3 course due to some water holes. Easy course to walk. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Wish they would offer walking rates as I only see cart rates.
Great Iron Practice
The course is well maintained and the staff was super friendly. Great spot to play a quick 9 holes and practice some iron shots.
Fun in the sunshine!
My husband and I had a ball and got in some good exercise. I was even bold enough to play from the tips!!!
Too much $$$$ for 9 holes
Much rather play Mountain Shadows am 18 hole par 54 with gorgeous scenery than the 9 holes Starfire decided to put together. Not only that, but Starfire wanted full price for my 9 year old to play the 9 again. Very disappointed for the cost of the round
Hi, We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time at Starfire Golf Club - The Mulligan 9. We look forward to seeing you at the course soon for another 5-star experience!
